Some clarifications on the 9/20/16 show

I can't imagine Disney capitalizing on what is popular just for a few extra tickets being sold. Sure they sell magnets of turkey legs and put up pin stands every 15 feet, but they would never gut a classic attraction with and fill it with their newest blockbuster movie. It's time to Let it Go, I need to fill my passport with stamps by eating and drinking at all these new outposts.

But that's what their doing with TofT. Swapping out a classic attraction for a IMO a not so amazing movie property. Hope it didn't continue.

The Tower of Terror rehab at DL doesn't bother me. GotG is as much Disney(or more) at this point as "The Twilight Zone" ever was.

Plus, the essence of the ride experience is staying the same. I'd say most ToT fans come off the ride saying "OMG THAT FREEFALL FREAKED ME OUT!!!", not "OMG I GOT TO SEE ROD SERLING!!!".

Everyone knows The Night Gallery was Rod Serling's best work, not the twilight zone. :D

What precisely did the Twilight Zone tv show ever have to do with Disney? Did you know that originally it was slated to be a Young Frankenstein attraction?

Tower of Terror is literally the only "Twilight Zone" I've ever watched.

And I am not familiar with this "Night Gallery" you speak of.

I'm quite sheltered, Cindy. Figured you knew this by now.

All of The Twilight Zone is on Netflix, so get it together Bob. The Night Gallery was the same concept as the twilight zone, but 70s, and IMO, creepier.

It also gave us the amazing line, "The police report described her as a groovy looking chick". :lmao:

Does it matter if it had to do with Disney or not? What does Aerosmith have to do with Disney? What did half of the stuff have to do with Disney thatbis in DHS? It's an IP tie in that worked and worked well.

Yup. That's what I'm sayin!

@rteetz <Clearing throat> Did we not just recently have this conversation?

(Or at least I told you what MY thought was, and you were supposed to take my OPINION as a FACT).
