Solo trip - from UK

Hi! Did you ever book your solo trip? I'm planning on going solo oct, love all the parks & would definitely like company along the way! I'm from the Uk too

I havent yet. Im in the process of moving back in to my parents to save money a) for florida trips and b) to buy a house. So things are up in the air at the moment. But if your planning a trip next year keep me in mind! Have fun in october!! So jealous!

The Jedi choke idea is hilarious!!!

I really enjoyed my solo time when down in Orlando. I recommend getting a little drunk at the Poly on Lapu Lapus and Backscratchers and then riding the Haunted Mansion. Totally different experience!

I don't recommend high-fiving all the new friends you meet on the way to the ride, though.

Hi all,

I am an everything orlando fan, love all the parks disney, universal and seaworld parks.

Used to visit with family (as a child) and with my now ex partner.

With most my friends being coupled up or with families im considering a solo trip ahhh scary.

Wondered if anyone from the uk has done it before or has one planned? Any advice for money saving as a solo traveller. Are there any companies or groups that organise meet ups for social events or days whilst out there?

Open to all suggestions and advice. Experienced traveller to orlando as part of a group but no idea how to do it alone!

I'm trying to decide on a very last minute solo trip at the mo, I'd be flying out in 17 days so very last minute! I've had a crappy year, got divorced then my best friend died last week so I want a break. Plus it's my birthday on the 30th so where better to spend your birthday!
I've done solo before, OP you should go ahead and book, it's awesome being able to do what you want and when without having to worry about other people!
