HELP!!

Been offered a villa in late November on Gulf Coast ( Orlando villa already sorted ! )

Only concern for us is that the pool is solar heated only. We're assured it should be warm enough....... but our only previous experience of non-electrically heated pools was Nov. 2000...and that was COLD!!

Can anyone advise if solar heating is up to the job at that time of year??

I would say, no, but I like the water warm - we always pay to have it heated no matter what time of year we go. Once you're in it's not too bad! :earseek:

I would say no aswell. You need gas or electric heating from October to April in my opinion - solar might take the chill off the water in spring/autumn but it won't do the job in winter.

We had Soalr Heating when we stayed in a villa in Newport Richey a few years back. Although the weather was quite warm (Mid March / 80's) the pool was still very chilly at first until we got used to it. I would say 'No' as well, if there's a next time I will definitelt want one with 'proper' heating ;) .
