Soft drinks on ship

Do you have to pay for any soft drinks on ship. I was told that you did but I'm not sure if it is true or not.

No you do not have to pay for softdrink with the exception from room service I think. There are soft drink stations on the deck for you to help yourself and you can ask for softdrink and anything else other than alcohol for free during your dining rotations.

Soft drinks are free in the dining rooms and deck 9 drink station(fountain). If you order from bar or room service, you will be charged since it is in a can. If you want a drink fpr the show, you can just walk to deck 9 and get a drink to take with you.

You will be charged for smoothies in the dining room.

If you bring a large cup or travel mug with a cover you can fill it on deck 9 and have enough for the show since DCL cups on deck9 are small, but you need to use the DCL cup from machine to fill up your travel mug with. ( this is to prevent contamination of fountain machine with ugly germs...eww)

You do have to pay for Rootbeer / Dr. Pepper - even in the dining rooms. For some reason there is no Dr.Pepper or rootbeer available free of charge. We were told by our servers that it is available at a cost.

The free drinks at the pool deck have small cups - so I would recommend that you bring a water bottle or larger cup or mug and fill it up and bring it back to your room to have with your room service.

I didn't know they have root beer and Dr Pepper! I brought my own when I sailed in December. Do you know how much a can costs at the bar or through room service? Thanks.
