Anybody use it yet?

If so what was your wait compared to Standby?

TIA

Have they always offered a single rider line on Soarin'? Or is this new?

I didn't do single rider but when I was in line this morning, I saw three people in a separate lane. I saw them all called individually to go to a spot pretty quickly. I realized it was a single rider line but did not realize it was something they were testing. When I saw the article pop up on my phone today, I thought it was cool that I saw it first hand.

Anyone know how it works with the three rooms? For the regular line you are stopped and then sent to one of three lines and I’m wondering how that works with single riders.

Most likely just like the other rides with single rider, you are placed where they need to fill it up. You won't be able to request a specific area unfortunately.

I'm happy to see this but also not, I like to request B row 1 because I like to see the Eiffel tower in the straight up position however you won't be able to request that here. :rotfl2:

They don't officially offer it as far as I know, but they used to always fill the rows with people at random like party of two or party of four. etc.

Must have many years ago as I don't recall seeing a single rider line.
With 3 theaters, not sure how that would work unless they send a few to each theater and wait in a single rider line there.

Some rides like 7dmt do not have single rider lanes but will ask for single riders at load.
We long-time solo travelers know this! I used to be pulled out for FOP and sent up a separate lane, but not as much lately. Same for Space Mtn; I was sometimes sent to a special SR load area, and always got the last seat of the 3 in the car.

It is something they just started, yesterday, according to what I have seen.
They were doing that when it first opened. I can remember being called up. I haven't been on it or in a place to be brought forward for years now so it is possible that they don't do it anymore, but they sure did back in the beginning.

You might still get this, if that's where the empty seat is.

I think they might be randomly testing this at various rides. When we were there in June, they were definitely pulling single riders at Space Mountain at least one day. My daughters rode Space Mtn. standby 3 different days and 1 of those days (the last day we were there) a CM came walking along the regular queue pulling single riders and putting them in a separate line. The CM pulled people way before the loading area, so not the usual last minute "are there any single riders?" Even though they still had to wait another 10 minutes in the single-rider line, my daughters estimated that using that line saved them about 20 minutes off of the regular stand-by queue wait time.
