Do you think Soarin' will frighten my 3 year-old? I've never ridden it, so I need some opinions. I think he will be just tall enough to ride it...

Thanks!

My DS3 has ridden Soarin several times and seems to enjoy it just fine. I would try some other rides like Barnstormer first, just to see what his fear level is. Someone with a fear of heights may not enjoy Soarin, but we all love it. BTW, my DS3's favorite ride is Test Track!

I think 3 is really pushing it for this ride--I would be worried about a three year old squirming under the seat belt.

All small children will need to have the seatbelt threaded through a strap in between their legs.

My 8 yo and 5 yo did FINE on this. They're both VERY VERY small (8yo is 33 lbs and 42" and 5 yo is 30 lbs and 40") In addition my 8 yo has multiple sensory issues and frightens very easiy - Soarin' was by far his favorite ride :) If he can ride it - a typical 3 yo will be fine :)

My 3 year old was just barely tall enough. In fact the CMs really had to kind of "coach" him to stand up just as tall as possible so he could ride. Well he LOVED Soarin' and he still talks about the "hang glider ride" and we went in early February.

If you 3 y/o is even the slightest bit adventurous and does well on the other rides I say go for it!! :)

this...I to have a very small son...he is 7 1/2 weighs 33 pds with sensory issues also....I think he will love this ride but was worried about the heighth issues ... glad your ds liked it...now I will not be afraid to try it with mine.

Thanks.

My 3yo has been on it on two different trips. Loved it both times as did DS 6. DH 35 was the one who was terrified :rotfl2: We requested the third row both times so in case the kids were going to be scared by the height.
