So - you think you might want to attend a Scrap convention

Take stuff out of the bags? Are you insane?!?!? I still have stuff from 3 CKC's ago that are stashed away somewhere. LOL

I have bags and bags of Disney pins all over my house, and I don't need bags of scrapbooking stuff, too. If this is what happens, I might want to rethink getting into scrapbooking. :rotfl:

OMG - dont even mention Disney pins - our collection is huge!!!!! Resale value is next to nothing although we do have some great LE's, but who really wants pins now? Maybe they'll resurface in time. Back to scrapping - I do not have as many supplies as I do pins!!!!:lmao:

We'll need to work on that. ;)

Well, I guess I won't tell y'all what I've done with my supplies since I got home, lest I be banished from the club :scared1:

The SDV in Raleigh Durham is 200$ less than WDW for the same package and I could fly southwest . . . June works so much better for me than September

Oh go ahead Linda- what have you done with your supplies???????;) Maybe you'll inspire me to get one of the projects completed this weekend.

In honor of you, Linda, I have been working on all my projects from SDV and CK. I completed two friends album, the rolodexm and eyeing the compendium of cards project I got at SDV Orlando. The first step has me stumped.:confused3 :lmao: Might put that one back.:lmao:

My friend and I were just talking about the Raleigh one. We live here so it's a no-brainer for use. Just trying to figure out which package we want. Let me know if you decide to come and we'll have to catch up sometime.

Is there anyone else heading to this one?

I am going to sign up. New to scrapbooking, so I can't help but learn something, and buy some stuff, and meet some nice people. Being in North Raleigh makes it so convenient for me,too.

Just let me warn you that it is just as hot here in June as it is in Orlando -- no breaks on the weather.

Anyone know if this one fills up quickly, or is there a little time to sign up and pay that deposit?

I'd like to know about the fill up rate too if anyone knows.

I didn't know you were in North Raleigh. We should try to plan a meet sometime.

SDV Orlando was not full though had about 615 people. SDV Indianapolis was cancelled, not certain the exact reason. Nancy or AWM can fill in the details there.

Good for you, Lisa, working on your projects!!!

What's the problem with the cards? That's what we're doing around here on Saturday - making cards! I got to use my new Scor-pal - tg - because that was one expensive purchase - teach me to ask how much BEFORE I say "I'll take it!"

I finished my small projects from CK, sorted all the stuff I bought into groups - companion kits with their class counter parts, put paper and cardstock into their appropriate containers (ROY G BIV), unpackaged the embellis and put them away, cut out the papers to cover my cat chipboard album for dh for Christmas (Ssssshhhhhhhhh.) Put that away til I can figure out some kind of design.

Then got side tracked into making 48 fish extender gifts for our November cruise, which lead to me fighting with my Cricut . . . THEN the card project came up, so I started getting my card stuff organized to take over there and was about done finding sketches, cutting scraps to the right size for fronts . . . yada yada . . . when the hostess e'd that she had got all the supplies to make all the cards - they just needed scoring, so I went and picked those up and scored them . . . Do you see why I feel like I never get anything DONE? I have the attention span of a KNAT!:headache:

OMG- where did you find the time to do all that? By the time I get home from school in the afternoon, I am pooped but manage to get some work done around the house before i get dinner and then get work corrected. Honestly, I don't usually have time for any scrapping during the week. Weekends are my best relaxing time- and it is only 1 day away!! :thumbsup2
TGIF everyone.

Wow, what a great trip! I went to the CK in AZ and I didn't see any of those projects there. I do love Lickety Splits they always have great projects!

Thanks for sharing your fun and your great projects!

lack of attendance. Shame too, because if it weren't Halloween weekend I would have gone.
