Oh, CanWeGoSoon, that is so nice of you! I am touched by your consideration! Unfortunately, I didn't get a call. I kept checking My DVC on the web site because I requested that it be changed automatically. Finally, about 4:30 PM, I couldn't stand it any more and I called. "Still no match..." was the word. I guess someone was ahead of me for your cancelled studio and I'm sure you made their day. But you did make my day anyway with your kindness and "neighborly" concern. Very sweet of you and I will give a shout WHEN (notice the positive thinking) WHEN my studio comes through.

Hey gang! I just got a call today from MS stating that I got the rest of my waitlist! So, I have a 1 BR for the week of Dec 2-9th- woohoo! No studio- we are so spoiled already! I'll be adding points next year I bet!

I'm waitlisted at BCV 1 bedroom for the 3-10 Dec. Yesterday, the 4, 9,& 10th came through. Crossing my fingers for the rest.

Nothing for Dec yet, but got our Boardwalk View waitlist for Halloween yesterday.

We went on the wait list for Dec 3 - 8 for a studio at any resort at the end of August. There was no news. Then, while reading these boards I realized that I had asked for one week as a single block, and not day by day. I called last week to change it to day by day. The next day we got the reservation for Dec 3. A few days later we got reservations for Dec 5-8. We are still waiting for Dec 4. So far all of our reservations are at SSR, except for Dec 8 which is at BCV.

I originally did the same thing, but after reading here, decided it was worth a shot. And I'm glad since they came through at different times. I wonfer if you have a few days and then are waitlisted for others, they try to put you in first so you don't have to change rooms? I changed to day-by-day so late, I thought there would be no way I'd get all the days. But, it took not long at all!

We were waiting for either a studio anywhere or a 1-bedroom standard at BWV. BOTH CAME THROUGH -

We have decided to take the studio at SSR. Tomorrow I will be calling and cancelling our original reservation for a 1-bedroom at OKW and we will be turning down the 1-bedroom standard view at BWV. So both should come available for anyone who is waiting for them.

We just found out that our friends who were on a wait list for December got a studio at Saratoga! The same resort as us!! We are really excited for them since it will be there first DVC trip!

On Friday, I cancelled my standard one-bedroom at BWV for 12/16-12/30/2006. Hopefully another DISer was on the waitlist and got that room. If so, have some fun for me. We won't be going back to WDW until next year.

We are currently booked into 2 bedroom at SS for Dec 31-Jan 8th and we waitlisted for 2 studios anywhere for that same period back in August. We'll see. Either way, we will be there for NYE!!!!
