So who's waitlisting for December already

Still waiting for my BWV waitlist for New Year's Eve. I called MS today to renew my AP, and at the end of the conversation, I asked her to confirm that we're still on the waitlist. She said yes, and that 31 days prior is when the waitlist is likely to clear, if it will at all (no surprise to DISers). Hoping that it'll clear soon!

Our friends are still waiting for a studio anywhere on Dec. 26 - 31! I hope it comes through soon!!!

I'm still waiting for a 2BR for 12/31 @ either BCV or BWV. Right now we have a 2 BR @ OKW on 12/31, 2BR @ BW on 1/1 & 2BR on 1/2 @ BC. Talk about moving around!!
I called THE a.m. of 7 months out to be put on the waiting list & so far na-da. Oh well, @ least we have accommodations somewhere.

I am curious where all these folks have their points. It goes back to buy where you want to go. I own two DVC resorts at WDW and then two Vero Contracts. When I want to reserve the first week of December to see the lights at Christmastime I do it in February a day at a time like I have always done. If I want Christmas week or NYE I do the very same thing. I happen to own at the BCV but it is not my first choice for my WDW vacations. I always choose OKW usually in a two bdrm lock off but I have reserved the BCV as well.

In the olden days you could easily get any resort at the 7 month mark but now that is close to impossible. So if you want the BCV, BWV, or VWL then buy enough points at one of these resorts for your Christmas vacation---- and rest easy next year

The last night of my waitlist came through last week, so now I have a studio at OKW from Dec 3-9. They came through one night at a time, and I had waitlist matches for SSR for Dec 3 and 6 for a while. So I took the SSR match and stayed on the list for OKW. Dec 3 was the final one to come through.

BTW, I am about to cancel a studio at VWL from Dec 10-16 now that I've been able to change weeks. Hope it helps someone...

Have a reservation for a 1-bedroom at OKW for 12/27 thru 12/30 but don't really need it. Since it's now the 2 of us, we called and are waitlisted for a studio anywhere. Would gladly give up the OKW 1-bedroom for that studio to save the points. Hope...hope...hope.

Just gave up a standard studio at BWV for Dec. 1st and 2nd.

I got a studio at BCV, so now I'm at BCV from the 1st - 8th!!!

(1st and 2nd in a studio, then hopefully we'll keep that studio for our 2 bedroom)

Just finally got a cll from MS ...and got VWL 12/26-29th (But I am going to remain on the WL for BWV bwview-just so we don't have to move)...now I have to re-evaluate my dining. And thank goodness I can finally book my March trip!!! Calling MS on Monday...so there will be an opening of a Stuido for someone else for those dates!!!

Just gave up a standard studio at BWV for Dec. 1st and 2nd.

I'd give anything for that studio- but I made the mistake of waitlisting for the entire run of our vacation, rather than day-by-day Live and learn, I guess- I just never thought anyone would give up a standard view at BWV.

We are still waitlisted for a 1br standard or BW view at BWV for Dec 3-11. We still have the 1br pv from Dec 3- 8 and a BW preferred studio from the 8-11. No luck so far.

I went on the WL at "the" 7th month mark at 8 or 9am(when ever MS opened), and I called day to day...althought thinking back this might have been a Monday am call...but I am waiting on a stuido...so I was not on the same list as you . It has seemed to me that MS has been working very hard on the beginning on the month and now trying to trickle down to the end of December. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I am calling Mon...since I got the message after closing on Fri...I will be cancelling my SSR stuido, but I spoke with my DH and I am going to keep this WL stuido. It means moving...but this will be our first Christmas at WDW so it will be great to stay at BWV and VWL I am hoping something comes through for you soon...Our cancellation will open up SSR for someone...so I hope you get something soon. Remember WDW will release their holdings too...so don't give up hope.
