So whatcha get for Christmas that's DVC related?

We each got each other one, and today, the 2 kids, 14 and 12, took their gift cards and bought 2 more...We have E-Ticket on them, as well as WDW Wait times, Radio Disney and Disney Dining.....They are truly amazing pieces of equipment, worth every penny.....

im still trying to figure out how to work the one i got from DHwill have to check out Eticket, didn't see it in the itunes app store, will have to look again

confused, didn't think there was free wi-fi in the parks and didn't think it'd work, guess we'd only be out around $6 if it didn't work? does this mean disney parks have free wi-fi then if ap works on ur itouch? do u have a Gen3?

Is from Disboards...If you look at the top of the screen, you will see it...Disboards on your Iphone is what it says....Not sure about wifi in the parks, BUT, here in Mass it works great....We can post to the boards from itouch, and it also has maps, DVC points, and other things...I would think, with all the APPS, Disney will offer wifi in the parks soon....Also, disney wait times APP is pretty neat...Check wait times from home....Today, soarin was 120+!! Go into itunes, type in Walt Disney World in search, then hit the Applications tab to see all the apps.

Well, my gift is DVC-related in that I'll use it every DVC vacation, including my trip reports. I got a new camera!

I've really enjoyed my compact point-and-shoot Olympus Stylus 730 digital camera. It easily fits in my pocket and, left on full automatic, usually takes great shots, except in low-light or nighttime.

However, for my Christmas gift this year, I got to pick a digital SLR. I kept going back and forth between the Nikon D5000 and the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, but in the end I picked the Nikon since it has less-grainy shots in low-light. I also looked at the Nikon D90 but that was above what I was willing to spend.

Guess I better spend some time reading the manual, as my next WDW trip is less than 2 weeks away!

Honestly, DVC Mike, I can't imagine more beautiful shot than those you share with us. These new ones will be something we all will enjoy!

since we bought into DVC just in Oct or November of this year, that was out gift to each of us and the kids. Though a trip to the Disney Store ended up costing me nearly 100 bucks.

Not DVC specific items but Disney... I got a silver bracelet with Mickey heads woven in the links (but it's too big and can't be shortened so it has to go back) and a silver necklace with a mouse ears hat sitting on top of a cultured pearl...and a polo shirt with Tinkerbell embroidered on it.

Not DVC-related, but our DD & DSiL got us a Disney gift card that we used on our trip to DLR last week. We picked out some fun gifts with the card! My sister got us a Jim Shore piece of Donald and Daisy with mistletoe.

Also not directly related to DVC, but our best gift was finding out that we will be grandparents for the first time next August...a new grandchild to introduce to Disney and DVC vacations!!

Like DVC Mike, I received a new camera (or at least it is on order and should arrive soon). We have a Canon EOS Rebel but I wanted a decent point and shoot which I could easily carrty about the parks. Thanks to the advice from fellow disboarders Santa ordered a Panasonic DMC-LX3S for me. Now we just have to find time to go south for a few days so I will have the opportunity to try out my new camera in the parks.
