So now what?

ok I had my dates set and I paid my deposit on a rental home, everything is going beautifully. Now here is what I've run into. See our trip isnt till May of next year so we've been buying tickets and etc gradually so we wouldnt have a huge expense when the time come. Well I get a letter from school today telling the parents not to schedual nothing between the dates of May 17-20 because of SOL testing. Well I remember them having SOLs last year around the same time frame. My nephew will be going on our trip with us and our trip falls from May 13-21!!! He will be testing sometime next year in that time frame but we dont know exactly when and the school cant tell us nothing. I have already sent in a 150.00 deposit on the home. I know she will probably let us change our dates but I dont know when I should move them to. I dont want to go in June or April but if I stick with May I run into the chance of him being gone during testing. What am I gonna do?

Early June is not that bad for WDW. Crowds are moderate and the temperatures are the same but with a few more showers in the afternoon. We love to visit that time of year and would go again this year if it weren't for my BIL who does not like the heat...so we are doing Thanksgiving instead. Anyhoo, go for another date.

Would the first week of May be doable. We've gone twice then and it was great. Small crowds and beautiful weather.

Isn't it a pain when school interferes with our Disney trips!!! The nerve!!! LOL

You know what Heather I was thinking along those lines too. I may just do that. And you're right, schools do get in the way of our Disney trips! Geez. LOL
