So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

Love "more Shopping pictures"!

Danielle has a necklace like Brooklynn's but it says her name. She got it in DHS too.

I wish I had a little girl to dress up in Princess clothes. Not that I'm ready for grand kids yet.

I love the look Sophie gave Mickey in the first picture. She looks like she's checking him out real hard.

Joining in now! On vacation at the moment so I have more DIS time and saw a new MeMom, Jill and company TR had begun so I'm jumping right on in. Can't wait to hear all about it (and catch up on what I've missed so far) :mickeyjum

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but when it turned into the shopping network I kinda went  :faint: for a while.......... :rotfl2: At least you did get around to focusing on the pins and the eats for a while in there, so you didn't totally lose me. That one orange Mickey Mouse shirt looked familiar. I'm not really an orange kind of guy, but I guess it would depend on who's wearing it........ :scratchin

Pictures of the foods at Pop and no Tie Dye cheesecake??? I thought that was a necessity there??? :confused3

I did like those Mickey Ear Christmas ornaments, and :cool1: for low crowds at DHS. The girls looked like they were having fun at Animation Studios, and a big :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 for the picture of the three girls with Sorcerer Mickey!!!

Finally, a belated Congratulations to all the ladies with new babies and finding out about new ones on the way!!! As for those who are hoping a coin in the fountain will resolve their "husband" issue, I would say good luck but being a guy I don't think I'm allowed to do so for the "guys" sakes.............. :lmao:

(j/k......I hope that fountain has some powerful mojo and things work out great for all of you! There is nothing like a Disney fairy tale ending I guess.......) :goodvibes

Anita - actually, I'm sure I've paid more $ for some ornaments at WDW myself! I'm surprised I didn't buy any of those!

Are they kind of heavy ornaments? Our Disney tree is the "real" tree, and it seems that the branches can't support a lot of the heavy resin ornaments well.

Too cute!

I am also enjoying all your shopping pictures! So many cool things!

I love these...... Now I just need a Mickey. :upsidedow

I Have the Orange Mickey shirt you posted. I bought that as my first Hallloweeny shirt.

I think one of my buys in May will be a Flower and Garden shirt.
I found a couple of food and wine ones that I will break out again Oct.

As always I love a shopping break.... :cool1:

MeMom, we can always count on you for GREAT shopping pictures!!

I love the picture of all three girls and Mickey. Who better than the Mouse for Sophie's first character meeting?!

Just a little update from our lovely Illinois snow! I hope that the rest of you have much better weather than we do!! Think warm thoughts...think about WDW....think about pool time...think about park hopping...think about anything but Winter Storm Rocky :beach:

2013-02-26_14-51-59_732_zps7525c67c.jpg

I also saw those ornaments EVERYWHERE when I was at WDW in January and I too scoffed at the price. But wigd's math makes me wish I had bought some! The WALL-E one caught my eye over and over, as did the Woody and Buzz.

Love the bride ears

Thank you for the update so cute

Bella loves dressing up as a Disney Princess. princess:

The picture with the 3 girls and Mickey is adorable! Like Brooklynn's necklace choice too.

That was a memorable moment in the trip - seeing all three girls and Mickey. :smickey:

I agree with you, 3 for $50 really are some expensive ornaments!!

Love the pictures of the girls with Mickey! Sophie already looks like a character-meeting pro! :thumbsup2

It will be interesting to see how she does in April. I have a feeling she is not going to care much for being handed over to characters. She will be eyeballing her Mommy and making sure she doesn't get too far away.

I couldn't justify $50 on ornaments, but I am happy for those who can, because they are really cute!

I love the shopping pictures. With our trip so close, it makes me so excited! I have nothing better to do than look on the internet. I have not recovered from my surgery like I thought. I spent the night in the ER last night due to a fever. I found out that I have pneumonia. Last thing I thought it was, but it is true. I am starting to have more pneumonia symptoms today but the fever is finally gone. Guess I am off work this week. I had planned on being a bad patient and going back earlier than my doctor told me to, but not now. I have decided this time to not be the stubborn doctor that does not like to take off work and actually take care of myself so I can be there for my children.
Keep the pictures coming. I plan on being 100% in 3.5 weeks to see it all myself!

We need you to get all better, friend! I wish we were close enough to bring you some dinner or help get the boys back and forth to where they need to be for you. Get plenty of rest, and keep in touch to let us know how you are coming along.

Hi Memom and Jill! I'm behind but just wanted to say "hi" and let you know I'm following along too. It was so exciting to meet you both during this trip! Now to read the previous 15 pages... :goodvibes

Glad you are here! It's nice to have DIS friends from all over the country, isn't it? :thumbsup2

I love all the shopping pictures, especially the Halloween merchandise! I can't wait to get back again next fall to continue adding to my Disney Halloween decoration "collection" ;) Soon I'll have more Halloween decorations than Christmas decorations!

The pic of the girls with Mickey is really cute!

I thought I would buy a Halloween something, but I didn't see anything that I didn't already have that really struck me. I love looking at it, even now, but I just didn't really need any of it.

Cara,
Sorry you aren't recovering like you had planned. Get some rest, enjoy the DIS and FB, and you will be back to your healthy self in no time at all!
Can you remind me what day you arrive next month? It seems as though we were just missing you, but our trip has been adjusted....

MeMom, Stop hating on those 3/$50 ornaments. I bought them!!!!
Well, you know I got 20% off. So that helped. I bought the Mickey tree to display so I got enough to fill it.....

I think I know the Halloween Mickey that you are talking about. The one with the flames behind it? I did get that t shirt. I thought it would scare some of my tough boys...... It didn't.

I sure hope Dreamitdoit can come to Vero this summer, I would love to meet them!!!! That's so exciting!!! How long would that take them to get there?

I'm not hating on those ornaments - I like them a lot!

I think that Vero meet is going to take place on Sunday. She says that will probably be the best day for them. As you have probably read by now, they are not far away. I am so glad they are coming! A picture of six little Disney girls will be precious!

I forgot to contact you while we were there. The days go by so fast. Hope you had a great trip. We had great weather!!! I had a few tour group issues but I didn't let it affect my good time;)

I bet with today's weather, you wish you were back in Florida!

Love all the shopping pics! You show amazing restraint not buying a lot of stuff!
LOL at Anita buying those expensive ornaments!!! Who else?

LOVE the picture of Bella at the fountain and the girls with Mickey!!!

You know Anita has a super awesome collection of those hats! :thumbsup2 I'm jealous!

All caught up! Sooooo much to celebrate and soooo very much to be thankful for!!! :goodvibes That was some scare...I am so glad it was taken care of quickly and Jill recovered enough in time for you all to take your trip and celebrate!! :thumbsup2 :dance3:

I'm liking those shopping pics. Not much of a shopper, but I do like to look at pretty stuff! And, those sweet treats at DHS - oh my!! BUT my fave pic so far is the three girls with Mickey!! Hope you got a good one of the front view...it's a KEEPER!! ::yes::

Yay for more DISbabies!!! There really is something special about those wishes in that fountain! :yay:

I'm excited about Vero!! :cool1: Anita - so excited to finally meet you guys, too!!! It should take us about 2 hours to get there. :)

I look waaaay more than I buy!

I'm sure the Photpass people got good shots of the girls.

:teacher:
Let's do the math.
3/$50
20% off =$40 OR $13.33 per ornament.

When I did that quick bit of ciphering, I decided that they really weren't THAT expensive.....
Right? ;)

Marc is the Math expert. As long as he was good with it, it was perfect Math, I'm sure. ::yes::

That really is not bad Anita. With the 20% off it really makes a difference. I know I have spent close to that on an ornament or two..;)

Memom I will never get sick of the shopping pics. I love seeing all the merchandise.

LOVE the soccer necklace that Brooklynn got. As you know there is LOTS of soccer time in my life.:)

Aw love the pic of Brooklynn holding Sophie with Mickey.:goodvibes

She was very pleased with her necklace. :)

I don't know the most I have spent on a single ornament, to be honest. It's just when I look at the number 50, it seems like a lot! :scared:

Thanks Anita. I am resting as much as I can. We arrive on 3/23. We are staying at BLT. Will we be overlapping any?

Did you say you were coming in late? How late? You know late in WDW is not the same as late in real life. Maybe we can hook up that night for a minute. Or if not, hopefully before Anita and Marc leave we can have a group ride on something.

Thanks Doreen! I know that many of us have spent that much on an ornament or two. Now perhaps I purchased a few more than that..... LOL!!!!

Knowing you, you set a record for number of hat ornaments bought on one trip. ;)

We will! Now we won't go home until the 25th. I'm sure we will be at MK on the 24th. Maybe you will be around there at some point?

That's our Hollywood day. Let me know if you plan to meet, and maybe we can meet outside a park. I doubt Kay is getting a hopper. If she does, we'll be okay to come in, because I have my AP. Or, maybe she won't mind if I come in and meet you guys for a few minutes. I'm sure she wouldn't.

Thanks Memom! I plan on sitting my tail here and getting better. My mom is here helping some so that is a blessing. As for our trip, I get in I think around 1:30 so to the resort around 3-4. We have a reservation at BOG for 5:20 but after that my night is free. I can go wherever. Just let me know.

I am all caught up now. Please through some quarters in the fountain for me. I am loving all your pictures, they make me happy while I am sick (I am just tired now but I did have the flu) my dd has told me to stay on the couch and she keeps bringing me water and tucking me in.

Will do. :thumbsup2 I hope you feel completely better quickly. It takes a while not to feel drained and to 'get your legs back' after being sick. You have a sweet girl to take care of you! :goodvibes

I am ready to give up the single life! And a love for or at least a tolerance for Disney things would be necessary! . I'm just gonna have faith in the power of your wish!

That could work!! Trust me my DCousin tried when we were there in the fall! Did I tell you all the story of the weird Disney VIP my aunt and I picked up one night in line for Rock N Roller Coaster?

I have a feeling I am going to be doing some CM stalking for some of you this time. ;)

Tell us your story. ::yes::

Page 16 Oh dear!!! I am another one who is so thankful that Jill recovered so well. I remember following closely on FB and praying a lot. Sophie looks so cute! Avery has a similar necklace that says gymnastics Happy to be following along for another TR

Hey, Mary! :wave2: Thanks for those thoughts and prayers. They were much appreciated!

Love Brooklynn's necklace she picked out. Really cute. The picture with Mickey and the three girls is so sweet.

Thanks. What kind of souvenirs does Jacob like to get?

Hi! :wave2: Just found this thread - and plan to go back and read through your others! So glad everything worked out well with Jill - that must have been quite a harrowing time.

I was wondering if I could get in on the serious boyfriend/husband wish too? It would be great if I could have one that can appreciate the Disney life like I do

Thanks!

I do the same thing! So far I've stayed at POR, GF, Pop and CBR. The first three were easy enough to find, the last one (in Feb 2012) was tougher!!

Coins will be thrown! :thumbsup2 We could always be specific, too, and find out how accurate the fountain really is. Like, do you want tall and dark or blonde and tanned? Do you want a quiet guy or a life of the party type? This could be fun! :woohoo:

Love "more Shopping pictures"!

I wish I had a little girl to dress up in Princess clothes. Not that I'm ready for grand kids yet.

I love the look Sophie gave Mickey in the first picture. She looks like she's checking him out real hard.

Brooklynn and Bell both love looking at the jewelry. I do, too, but I just don't like wearing it. I am thinking I might get one bracelet to wear at Trent's wedding, though. I am going to look for some kind of Disney jewelry to wear on that occasion, anyway.

Joining in now! On vacation at the moment so I have more DIS time and saw a new MeMom, Jill and company TR had begun so I'm jumping right on in. Can't wait to hear all about it (and catch up on what I've missed so far) :mickeyjum

Enjoy your vacation! Time away from school is great!

Sorry, man, we have lots of girls around here, which means lots of shopping. We don't want to run you off, though, so hang with us. I really did take a lot of merchandise pictures this time, though.

Yes, you need to get all of your guy friends of all ages together and let's have a big DIS meet to see if any magical sparks fly! :wizard: A couple of fairy tale endings would be wonderful!

I have taken so many tie-dyed cheesecake pictures already, so I just don't do it every time now. I do have a lot of food pictures yet to come, though. We did Crystal Palace and Tusker House, to name two, and I took plenty more, so hopefully you will enjoy those.

Anita will have to share tree pictures with us. :goodvibes

Too cute!

I am also enjoying all your shopping pictures! So many cool things!

I took a lot, lot, lot of merchandise pictures on this trip.

I love these...... Now I just need a Mickey.

I Have the Orange Mickey shirt you posted. I bought that as my first Hallloweeny shirt.

I think one of my buys in May will be a Flower and Garden shirt.
I found a couple of food and wine ones that I will break out again Oct.

As always I love a shopping break.... :cool1:

I want to do some shopping in Gardentown on our first day.

Do you want coins thrown for you? Maybe I should even throw some for myself, but I will be extremely specific about my wishes. ::yes:: Tall, kind of quiet, handsome in a plain way, has to love Disney, of course, same religious ideas, enough money to fund four Disney trips a year and maybe a mini-trip or two to some other places, looks great in a flannel shirt ;), and he has to like frumpy old plain Jane girls with no talent. Yeah, I'd be very okay with a guy like that.

You can keep that snow! It is pretty, but I am happy that I don't live where it is a common thing! I am definitely thinking warm thoughts as tomorrow marks THREE weeks before we go!

Yes, Mom is a blessing! I am glad she is there with you. :goodvibes

Okay, we'll text close to arrival day and see what works well for everyone.

I love these...... Now I just need a Mickey. :upsidedow

Hmmmm........:scratchin

I Have the Orange Mickey shirt you posted. I bought that as my first Hallloweeny shirt.

Oh, was that you I've seen on the DIS with that shirt on? Okay, I knew it looked familiar...... :rotfl:

Coins will be thrown! :thumbsup2 We could always be specific, too, and find out how accurate the fountain really is. Like, do you want tall and dark or blonde and tanned? Do you want a quiet guy or a life of the party type? This could be fun! :woohoo:

:sad2:

Sorry, man, we have lots of girls around here, which means lots of shopping. We don't want to run you off, though, so hang with us. I really did take a lot of merchandise pictures this time, though.

Don't worry, I won't go away. Too much to learn here (even more than I thought when I joined in it appears). I might, however, zone out for stretches every now and then just so I can keep my man card!!! ;)

Yes, you need to get all of your guy friends of all ages together and let's have a big DIS meet to see if any magical sparks fly! :wizard: A couple of fairy tale endings would be wonderful!

:scared1: Okay, I didn't know this was the MeMom dating service going on around here........... :rotfl2:

I have taken so many tie-dyed cheesecake pictures already, so I just don't do it every time now. I do have a lot of food pictures yet to come, though. We did Crystal Palace and Tusker House, to name two, and I took plenty more, so hopefully you will enjoy those.

Definitely two of my favorites! Bring on the food porn!!!

Memom's matchmaking service?????:rotfl2:

You should throw some for yourself..... as for me .... Maybe wishes for a happy life and the rest will take care of itself.:scratchin

Oh, was that you I've seen on the DIS with that shirt on? Okay, I knew it looked familiar...... :rotfl:

thats right goofy, I actually had mine on in my last update. 1eagle eye point :magnify:

Okay, I didn't know this was the MeMom dating service going on around here...........

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Just what I was thinking.

Inquiring minds???

Oh really?????:scratchin What are you inquiring????? Don't let Memom and the magic WL fountain scare you off. Many wishes and many babies have been born to those wishing them.
I guess we are testing the powers on matchmaking now? I guess we shall see?

You better leave that part out - it's patently false!!

Ok, here is the weird story of my aunt Kim and I picking up guys at Rock N Rollercoaster! :rotfl:

So one night on our big family trip this past October my 2 aunts and I headed out to EMH at DHS to see Fantasmic and go on some of the rides the little ones can't do. My aunt Kim and I decided to go on RNR however when we got there the standby line was really long so we decided to do the single rider line! However as we walked up a CM mentioned to us that the line was closed. My aunt is in the middle of saying "I guess we will have to wait in the long line" when this slick-looking guy in a leather jacket with his hair all coifed, takes my hand, shows some ID badge to the CM and says "they're with me" and takes the 2 of us and his friend through the fast pass line. When we get up to the podium he flashes the badge at the next CM and we are promptly taken in to the "recording studio" room with no wait and with no one else. While in there we thanked him and asked how he was able to get such treatment and he suddenly became James Bond! He would not tell us what he did but that he worked for Disney in California and he was allowed some special privileges. I asked again and he just laughed and said he couldn't say.

Then we go out to the loading area and are escorted by the next CM up to the front of the line and he was then asked where he wanted to sit! :hyper: he looks at the CM and says "the girls really want to sit at the front" so we were taken right up with no wait!! When we got off the ride we thanked him again (profusely) and I asked again "what did you say your job was?" and he just laughed and told us to have a good night.:confused3:confused3:confused3
I just turned to my aunt and said "did that really just happen?!"

And that is my story of the mystery Disney VIP!:p. anyone have any idea of who it could have been?!

Oh, was that you I've seen on the DIS with that shirt on? Okay, I knew it looked familiar...... :rotfl:

:rolleyes1

We sure don't want to jeopardize you getting your man card, so just drop in when you want and zone out when you want. Declansdad does the same thing - he teases us about our shopping. ;)

As for the dating service, let's wait and see how that fountain works with that. It's been good for babies, but it's untested in the future spouse department.

Memom's matchmaking service?????:rotfl2:

Well, if the Wilderness Lodge fountain doesn't work, we could always test new waters, I suppose... :scratchin

Wishes for a happy life has been a request before, for sure. I usually think specific requests, and then I throw in a few for good measure and kind of think 'for whatever anyone is wanting or needing right now'. ::yes::

You better leave that part out - it's patently false!!

Okay, I can cook a decent meal. Does that qualify as a talent? :) You better hope so, because you do not want me to throw out one of my stick figure drawings for you to prove the 'no talent' clause when it comes to art.

That is definitely a story to remember! One day, you will see that face in a Disney article somewhere and figure it out!

Know what today is?

It's 'Three Weeks from Today' day! :dance3: Yeah, buddy!!! :woohoo:

I think this weekend will be the time to start pulling out the suitcases and tossing things in, don't you? :cool2:

Yay for 3 weeks from today day!!!:cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

I think pulling out the suitcases sounds like a great idea!!!:thumbsup2

You better leave that part out - it's patently false!!

Yes MeMom you are VERY talented.
Gee, From bring together DIStown to cooking a great meal to being such a hardworking and wonderful teacher. So many more to list.::yes::

Let's see Spouse wishing fountains. So many to think about but let's try.

EPCOT fountains- many there ---France maybe??? OOHLaLA

CSR fountains- many there too.

:faint: STACY!!! That is the best story I have heard in a long time!! Were you dying?? Seriously, how cool is that! Too bad you didn't get to hang with mystery VIP some more!

Okay, I'm doing it, I'm finally coming out of lurkdom and fessing up--I'm here and following! Can't wait to keep reading!
