So many Myrtle Beach resort choices.....

I would like to put in a good word for these condos. They at the far north end of Myrtle Beach next to a wildlife sancturary. Very quiet end of beach.

They have a beach front building, then a beach walk building and then smaller buildings further back. We stayed at the beach walk and still had a lovely view of the ocean and the sancturary. Both had pools.

Keep meaning to get back the the Lands end.:thumbsup2

Caravelle Resort we stayed here several times, nice size rooms, clean, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tubs, lazy river, on the beach, a short ride from the amusement parks but far enough away from the noise and traffic.

Simonsmom;

Please indicate specifically what is the problem about dealing with that person. I am from a large group getting ready to rent a six bedroom villa in August, and he is the person that I believe we need to deal with. We have been through the ringer in trying to find an appropriate place and are not anxious to see this one fall through. But if something is wrong then we need to find out the bad news now.

Thanks very much.

I pulled up this thread, because we are thinking of doing Myrtle the week after Easter. I have never been. We will be flying in, so all of these hotel options sound great, however which would be the best WITHOUT a car?

What are your interests? Golf, shopping, beach? Give me an idea and I can probably make a suggestion. We go twice every year and we always stay at our timeshare, but have stayed at other places as well. Do you want a condo or hotel and how many people?

Will be glad to help.

A great source of info is www.funbeaches.com They have a great forum where really helpful people can give you some answers as well. Enjoy your trip! We love Myrtle Beach!

We are looking for timeshare to trade into...one that my older boys can walk to the bars at night. we need to stay where the action is.

We want to be on the beach, if possible...pools...and close to all of the restaurants and fun, no golf.

Add us to the list of Litchfield lovers. We've been going there regularly for about 15 years. If you want something reasonably priced look at the Seaside Inn which has two bedroom condos. It isn't on the ocean, but is right near the waterpark.

I like Litchfield because you can have a nice quiet beach getaway or be in the hustle and bustle of MB in a matter of minutes.

We love Litchfield too. We stayed in North Litchfield Beach the past 3 summers in a house right on the beach. For us it is such a change of pace from the hustle of North Jersey. Very relaxing!!

karenos;)

We always stay at Lands End as well. My in-laws own one of the units in the ocean-front building, so we've never looked anywhere else.

It doesn't have as many fancy amenities as some other resorts (no lazy river or waterpark), but it has several pools, a hot tub, etc... and great access to a less crowded portion of the beach. Each unit is individually owned, so some of them have been updated more recently than others. There are pictures of each unit on the web site so you'll know what you're getting.
