Wow, I had no idea.

I was, however, relieved to find that the name is a misnomer. They should be called personal cloths or something. I had a horrific visual of an entire family sharing a single cloth.

Family members do not share a single cloth for their bathroom wiping needs. Each family has their own method, but most often a stack of clean cloth strips are left near the toilet in the bathroom. After use the family cloth is placed in a bucket. Every few days the contents are washed.

However, the bit at the end, where they sit around for days before being washed....Oh. Em. Gee. Really??? Days?? Doesn't it smell like a gas station restroom after Day 2?

I like to think I"m pretty green. I use reusable bags at the store, I recycle, etc. but sweet Mary, I'm not ready for this level of green-ness.

Is anyone else hearing Kermit sing about now?

I knew it- I just KNEW I would regret finding out what this was!! Now that I have googled it and read about one woman that washes them all in the same load as all her bath towels I really really need to go to my happy place....

There isn't enough bleach out there to clean a washing machine after this. Have a nice time in your happy place. Mine involves a trip to the liquor store.

Sorry OP but Disney provides all the toilet paper you will need on your trip, (I should know I took my family of 5 AND my mom). We never had to request more, so I would leave that at home!

I personally think this is the most disgusting use of old rag anyone could come up with. buy yourself some green TP and use the rags to wash your car.

Oh my goodness, doesn't seem like a very sanitary practice to me.

And it's just another reason to NOT use public washers/dryers...you never know what has been in them. Ick!
