My goodness it sure was an un-january like day yesterday! Can't believe this winter!

We got to spend our day HOUSE HUNTING! Not sure if I want to strangle dh or kiss him!! He's decided and worked really hard at convincing me that NOW is the time to move so we are looking at building a new house within walking distance to school for the kids. Not sure if I'm happy or frustrated!!

Murphy's law tells me we will be moving a month or so before Disney or shortly after.

Yesterday, I spent preparing dinner for my divorced in-laws. Can you imagine?

We went to the Hamilton Wood show, my DH does wood carvings and he had 2 in the show so we went to see how he did. He got 1st place in intermediate and placed 1st in class with a Bufflehead hen and got 2nd with a sharpshin hawk!!! ( I have pics if someone wants to see them ) I am so proud of him! Going there with 4 kids took most of the day, they loved seeing the airplanes at the warplane Heritage Museum. It really has been a strange January, I love the warm weather.

What a January!! It's raining here today and apparently I get to go look at model homes again. Have to make a cake for dh too.... he's turning 40 tomorrow and really stressing about it

I went skating on the canal in Ottawa! It has not been open much with our mixed weather, but I mangaed to get there yesterday and have a skate and a beaver tail of course!

We went to a concert and had a GREAT time...hung out with friends, got to see a HOT man dancing and singing on stage ...not to mention while we were in front row!

Working....boo erns....but given a choice I would have been out commiserating with nature on my horse Destiny. She's loving this weather too!

You DH's birds are amazing!!! I'll have to show my DH as he loves seeing these.It really is a wonderful talent!! Congratulations on his winnings too! We love the Heritage Warplane Museum too.

I spent the day making a potatoe salad.chef salad and getting ribs and sausages ready to BBQ since it was such a mild day. We had 2 of my DS's and their girlfriend here for diner last night and decided to have a summer meal.

Also we're heading to Orlando on Thursday and I haven't even started packing yet!

Wow! Those are Fantastic! What Talent!

DD and I spent the day Shopping in Buffalo! It was wonderful!

Of course we only spent our alloted $25.00 each!

A little dissapointed since I could not find my Passionfruit Juice to make my Konk Kooler!

Oh well, only 1 1/2 months then I can have the real deal!

We (my DS and I) spent the day going through summer clothes trying to pack (only about 40 days to go). Then we hit the canal for a Beavertail.

What an amazing day (despite the rain!!) Dh and I actually found a house we both like and agree on!! now to figure out where to build it... looking at 2 different area's and what changes we are going to make! I really didn't expect to be house hunting this soon.... our 'plan' was for summer of 2007 but I guess dh was too 'anxious' to move!!

Well, it has been pouring rain here all weekend so we have spent it mostly indoors, playing Star Wars trivia (my son MAKES me, I promise, it is a sacrifice I make for him), reading, sitting by the fireplace, playing cards, drinking tea, etc. Its been really nice.
