so frustrating!!

we're trying to go down in December for the 26-1, but we were wait listed. since we're DVC members we were going to stay at either AKL, OKW, or STS. we were waitlisted for all of them. we recently came up with the idea to stay on a non-DVC property such as STS. do you think it'll be easier to get a room there or just another wait list? is anyone else having this problem? is anyone else planning on going down then? wait, let me answer that.. EVERYONE is!

I may be pointing out the obvious. but have you tried droping the last day and seeing if those days are avaible and staying off site on the 31 & 1st. I'm guessing from what I'v read the newyears eve is pretty busy.

good luck, I dont think I could enjoy DW if its packed.

I would see if there is also a thread here for non Disney timeshare owners, very possible someone would be willing to 'swap' one of their resorts to stay on property, even if it isn't the same week you are going.

I know that we have more flexibility (Marriott) as there are 3 resorts within 5 miles of DW, so we can find accomodations easier.
