60 day window opened today. No A&E...one of the biggest things my almost 4 year old is looking forward to. How are standby lines now a days? Better during the evening?

I want to cry. :sad1:

It was really hard for us too, only could get one for our last day (day 7) in the second week of September. I've seen posts of others on FB that some have been opening up... so don't give up - keep trying :thumbsup2

Me, too, with a 10/3 check in date. We are doing parks 10/3 and 10/4, then a 4 day Disney Cruise, then a new check in for 10/9 and 10/10. I thought when the window opened up I could get for 10/9, but guess that 2nd check in hurts me. Only shows 10/3-10/5 tonight. Ugh

My question is... it seems I have to dump the three I have to even check to see if I can snag an Anna and Elsa???

I don't believe that's the case. You can go in to change experience to change just the one and search, and if there's no A/E you can just back out.

The 4 year old will live. It isn't the end of the world. The lines are still long, but if your 4 year old is desperate to meet them, who knows? It might be worth the wait.

Just keep checking- I've read that slots have been opening up closer to people's dates. I hope you're able to find something that works for you!

I couldn't get them either. But keep checking! There is even a cancellation thread on here for A&E and SDMT. I hope your princess gets to see them!! princess:

With package cancellations 45 days out, you should keep watching for groups of 2! You have a chance to get lucky!

Also - summer standby has been around 90 minutes...better in the evening....my 4 year old is a night owl - I wish we had a MK night as she would be fine going at 8pm with a 30-40 min wait! (Maybe shorter in October!)

Don't beat yourself up too bad, i've read there is only 9 fastpass per slot, therefore it is feasible that one party too all those spaces for A&E. The same discussion thread also said there was room for 80 standby each hour, a total of 89 guests!

I really think though they should change meet and greats so that you should only need 1 FP if you are going in as a large group and each group gets 3 minutes (or whatever suitable time). Or if you want lots of pictures with different people in each then get 1 FP per person who wants to be pictured.

They were all likely taken by empty nesters just to irritate people with small children.

Have you tried booking 1 person at a time? We have a party of 3 and I had to do it that way. Our dates are 9/7-9/10. At first I was only able to get 2 with overlapping times. In the morning of 60 days out I was able to get a 3rd with overlapping time. Then I got greedy, tried changing them all for an earlier time. Got lucky with 2 and 3rd was 4 hours later. I just kept trying and finally an overlapping time opened. Then my middle daughter decided she wanted to go with her 1 yr old daughter. Couldn't get one but I booked her for Belle, every day I'd tried to change and it finally became available. Our shared window for all 4 is 1:50-2:20.

I would keep checking, and try just booking for 2. That's what I did for DD8 and myself. DS and DH had no desire so I let them off the hook.:lmao:

I want to second the don't give up. I planned a surprise trip for my DD with only 20 days notice. I checked every day (not sure if things changed about the lose what you got in order to try for what you want- I had a cancel button and did use it when nothing came up) and was able to score a FP+ for the two of us. I couldn't believe my eyes when they showed up!! This was 8/1 for 8/10. So people do cancel and they do float out there.

Sorry we didn't realize the disney experience was in age order and those of us with no children had to pass on things for those of you with young children. We were not as lucky as some to go as children, didn't know that meant we missed our chance at a character meet.

Oh and nobody would stand on a line just to iratate someone with small children, maybe you jus believe when you don't get what you want or you have to wait for something that it's because others are out to get you.

On a side note, we have waited in the sun to meet characters, you can too. We all paid for this vacation and experience so nobody deserves it more then others*

*make a wish type outings are obviously excluded from this comment/rant

If you are doing the Disney Cruise then I wouldn't worry about trying to see them in the parks. We were on the fantasy in Feb and we met Anna with only a 30 min wait. Go on the cruise boards and ask around if both girls were meeting now on the ship. I think you have a better chance of meeting them there than in the parks.
