Wendy- My grandmother used to use beer traps to get rid of slugs. I can't remember if they worked or not but I do remember my Pop complaining about her wasting his beer. I preferred salt as a kid to get rid of them.

Jason and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary today! We're heading to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The kids are excited to play checkers. My parents are watching the kids on Saturday so we can have a real date night without having to tell anyone to sit on their bottom or to please eat and stop making faces at your food.

The injection site hurts like heck but! I can now cross my legs without pain. And the injection site will stop hurting. I think it was successful so I'm pretty happy!

I just bursted out laughing when I read that. Not sure why it's so funny, maybe because I've been there (and I don't even have my own children...)

So ladies you will never guess what I did.... I got a Mickey tattoo on my foot... I can't believe it at my age I did something so silly.... its really little... about the size of a dime...but I really like it... I never thought I would EVER get a tattoo but it was a spure of the moment thing... and it hurt like H*ll....Maggie just sat there and laughed at me.

My mom got a tattoo of Tigger on her ankle 2 years ago!!! She has always loved Tigger, but I'm not a fan of the tattoo. It's a little large for my taste, but it's very well done. I don't think I could ever get one. #1-I'm a huge baby and #2-I can't think of something I'd want forever.

Well,...we have a busy day...Dr appts (chiro)..guitar for the boys, then they have haircuts....of course it's all spread out just far enought that I will be in and out of the house about 4 times today!! I would rather leave and go do what all needs doing and then come back...I hate going back and forth!!!Oh well....it must be done!!!

Wendy- If I were going to get a tattoo, it would definitely be Mickey or something meaningful about my kids. I doubt it would ever happen though- I hate needles! I'd love to see a pic of yours!

Shawna- Have fun running around today. I feel the same way- if I'm going out, get it all done at once but sometimes that doesn't happen.

We never made it Cracker Barrel for dinner last night. My poor Em did a faceplant on our driveway yesterday afternoon and we decided it was best not to go out since she was feeling so miserable. My poor baby!

Oh and if all of you wouldn't mind... tomorrow is the big day for Jason's dad. He goes in for a laparoscopy procedure first to determine if everything still looks the same as his CT scan last showed. If the cancer is relatively the same size then they will operate and it will be a major operation for him. If it has grown then they won't and they will just send him home. Either way it's going to be a hard road for him over the next few months. It's all in God's hands now. All prayers and thoughts you want to throw his way are welcome!

Kim~ I will definitely be praying!! I know this is going to be hard for him, but hard on the family as well....keep us in the know!! Poor Emily!!! I hate when the kids do things like that...it just makes you sick..but you can NOT freak out in front of them no matter how bad it is!!! My mom used to panic and it would scare me to DEATH!!! So...I learned not to do that early!!! She still does it with my kids---kinda drives me crazy!! I am gonna send you a message on FB!!

Yes it hurt really bad and anyone who says different is fibbing!!! But I love it now... like I said its little... only about the size of a dime... I couldn't imagine getting a big one..one - it would hurt to bad - two - it would be crazy expensive - and three - forever is a long time.... at least this one I can cover with a sock!!!
