I think they will more than likely be called Drew and Sam! My sister's Kids are Samuel, Jack and Andi (girl) Ken's older sister's girls are Joelle and Charlotte and his younger sister's boys (4!!!) are Nathaniel, John (JAck), Andrew and Samuel!! So in actuality I have 2 sets of Sams, 2 sets of JAcks and 2 sets of Andy's!! Isn't that funny?? It's a good thing we don't live in the same city!! :lmao:

HAHAH!! At least you don't have to learn a bunch of names that way....:rotfl:.

I'm an "adoptive" Aunt. My goddaughter and her big sister are my best friends daughters, however they call me Aunt Shelly, and boy do I spoil them rotten!;)

Kim~Congratulations on the new babies!! How exciting!

Becca~Planning a Disney trip with little ones in mind is soooo much fun! You are going to have such an amazing time. We had Chase down in January for his first trip. We was only 10 weeks old and let me tell you, it was FUN! Interesting, but fun. We stayed in DTD and it was such a pain to get anywhere, especially with the stroller. Rylan's first stay was at the Polynesian and it was so much easier.

Shawna - I definitely won't complain if he's not an early riser, because that will make every day easier. Also, Logan seems to think we're going to take this trip immediately upon returning from South Korea. Even though October sounds like a nice time to visit, I would rather wait until the jet lag has subsided. We'll see what happens...who knows where the Army will send us next.
I'm doing pretty well. I'm just happy that I got to come here with Logan. It's not that different from him going to work every day. Apparently, there are three guys in his class that have pregnant wives that they DIDN'T bring with them, even though their due dates are fairly soon. I can't imagine not being here with him. Maybe they chose not to come...who knows? It would be terrible if they didn't come, because they didn't know it was an option. I suppose that's a perk of being an obsessive researcher.

Kim - Congratulations! That's so great.

Becca- I couldn't imagine going through pregnancy without my DH by my side. I'm glad you did the research and aren't going through this and dealing with a long distance marriage.

Kim- Congrats X 2 !!!!! Best wishes to Ken's sister- sounds like she had a great labor! Hopefully you'll be able to meet those handsome little guys this summer.

Happy Mother's Day Weekend everyone!!!! (Preggo mommies included in those wishes! ;) )

At my house, I usually take the whole weekend- one day is not enough. What are everyone's plans?

My plans aren't quite working out as we had originally thought. I was supposed to go to my cousin's first holy communion this morning, visit my mom this afternoon, and then head to my SIL's house to visit my MIL this evening for dinner. Tomorrow we were supposed to go to Hershey for the day. Instead we are home and I'm exhausted. Andrew started with a headache, tummy ache and super high fever yesterday (104.8 :scared1: Sorry my Canadian friends, you'll have to do the math on that one! ) He was just feeling blah in the AM and by 11am his temp was sky high and I was scurrying to contact my daycare parents and get out the door to the doctor. I actually ended up having to take 2 of the kids with me. :scared: Went to the pediatrician and they said he has strep- his third round of strep this school year. Back on antibiotics for 10 days. :headache: DH is working today and I know he's tired because he was up checking on him with me all night. Oh and inbetween checking on him we had to keep blowing Em's nose and getting her sips of water because she started with a lovely little cough. Phew! Time for a cup of tea! All I want for Mother's Day is for these germs to go away and for my babies to be healthy again!

Happy Mother's Day (a day early)!!! I had to teach my ballet class this morning but I have nothing planned for the rest of the day. We have a high wind warning in effect until 8pm tonight. I feel like my house is going to blow over right now! :scared1: It's crazy!!!

Tomorrow, we'll head over to my parents house after church. My sis and BIL are taking my mom out to breakfast in the morning and then my mom is going to make burgers tomorrow afternoon (she's the grill master in their house). A local ice cream place gives moms a free sundae on Mother's Day, so we'll head over there after lunch. :goodvibes

Kim-I hope your kiddos feel better soon!

Kim -NDG - congrats on the new nephews!

Kim - Monny - hope kids are better soon!

I'm exhausted. I'd love a spa day for Mother's Day, but that's not happening. Just finished our garage sale. It was SO COLD!!!! Thursday wasn't bad, then Friday it rained all day and barely got to 50 out. We closed up early at 2:30, which was good because I had about 10 things to do last night! Back out today - it was COLD again! I can't believe it was almost 80 on Tuesday and it snowed last night!!! (Nothing stuck here, but they had a few inches in Northern MN)
So I still have to do all the math and divide up the money, but I'm so tired, that will have to wait. We got rid of a bunch of stuff - especially some big things. Still have a lot left and while we were cleaning up, the phone rang - Charity Pickup!! HELLOOO!! They're coming on Thursday to take some stuff away!

As for Mother's Day, I'm not doing much (frankly I'm so tired I don't care to do much!). DH is working at noon for a Stars on Ice show and the girls and I will go to my parents' house for dinner. I said I'd bring dessert, but have not yet decided what that will be. Might be stopping at the store on the way!

To all of you moms and moms-to-be:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
:flower3:

Sorry that your little ones aren't feeling well. I hope they are on the mend very soon!

I also wanted to tell you that we are headed to Hershey tomorrow! Love to do HersheyPark on Mother's Day. The weather is supposed to be cool, so hopefully the crowds will be low, low, low!

Hope everyone has a lovely Mother's Day. DH has spoiled me yet again. He bought me the Lord of the Rings trilogy on BluRay, a trip to HersheyPark tomorrow, as well as a new Tablet PC for work.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies and Soon-To-Be-Mommies!!! Enjoy your day!!:goodvibes

Happy Mother's Day all!!

School has been keeping me crazy busy, so I haven't had to to catch up on this thread.

We've had a busy weekend. We sold my DH's car. The place that bought it had a Shelby Mustang convertable in the showroom and I was drooling over it. I sat in it for like 20 minutes. Yesterday, I had Psych class, then we went to Pancho's Mexican buffet with my DH's family. His mom's last day at work was Friday. She was basically forced into short term disability/retirement from a job she has been at since 1989. In just a little bit, I have to go pick up the DS's from the inlaws and then over to my sister's house for a Mother's Day/ birthday lunch for my brother. My dad is making a brisket and his baked beans.

The other day John was snuggling with me watch catoons and he said, "Mom, the only present I want for my 13th birthday is a trip to WDW." When I told my DH, he said that he had told him the same thing. He said he had such a pitiful look on his face, and followed it with such a big hug that he really wants to try and make it happen.

Kim - There's also the possibility that he could get deployed in the future when I may or may not be pregnant. I might as well be here with him while I have the opportunity.

Happy Mother's Day to you all!

When I worked in day care, there was a parent that came once a week to give each of the teachers a 10-15 minute massage. She always brought either a Peppermint or Spearamint oil that would open my sinuses up almost immediately. When I was pregnant with Joey, I kept having trouble with my sinuses and I had a doctor that actually wanted to do surgery while I was pregnant b/c he said my sinus cavaties are only half the size they should be.

Just made my ADR's for November!! :woohoo: Got everything I wanted at the exact time I wanted with the exception of T-Rex, had to take it a half hour earlier, but that's okay!

Only made 5. We will go to Big River Grille too, but they don't take ADR's. . .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DS #2!!! :cake:

I can not believe my baby boy is 11 today!!! WOW!! He was born on a Monday, following Mothers Day on the 9th!! He is suuuuch a sweet little guy!! Smart as a whip, but kinda quiet....we had dinner with some friends and did the birthday cookie on Fri...but we will take him out again tonight, since it's his REAL day!!! He is such a Christopher Robin kinda boy!! I wanted to name him either Christopher something, or something Robin...DH said NO WAY!! He knew some Chris's and HATED Robin!...I guess the whole Batman & Robin thing really messed him up!! LOL, but his little name fits him perfectly! This is the kid who you think isn't listening or paying attention when grown-ups are talking (because of course,he is building Legos) then he blurts out some startling piece of wisdom! At times, it has been a little uncanny--there have been times when he has told people things that I know & they know that the Lord was working! He just couldn't have known what we were talking about!! Very deep little guy....what is that old saying "Quiet waters run deep"...so very much his personality...he can be super funny too--but he bows out usually and lets ds14 do all the comedy....I hope you all can meet my kids some day!! I think they are awesome! (Gee, I hope I didn't sound like one of those people who brag on their kids and in the background u see them torturing a dog and bombing a house?)LOL.... Well, it is his birthday and I thought it was a great time to 'toot his horn'!! Well..have a great Monday and thanks for all being such great friends!!!!!
