Had a wonderful Mothers Day... Maggie had her dance recital ( yes she still dances in college)... nice day... had brunch, the recital and then moved some of her things home as her last exam is on Thursday.

She's right - I have had the pleasure of meeting him, and he's a great kid!!!
I should remember his b-day because it's the same as my and DH's anniversary! 13 years today!! Of course, I forgot about it this a.m. when I got up to go to work. DH gets out of the shower and says, "Happy Anniversary!" and I go, "Oh, yeah! Happy Anniversary!"
oops. We probably won't do much special today - Sarah has a softball game at 6. But it does appear that it will be rained out. Another busy week ahead with stuff every night. May is like that because the activities from winter haven't all ended and spring/summer stuff has already started.

Well - my garage sale was a success! got rid of lots of stuff and charity pickup is coming for the leftovers on Thursday! Made around $250. That will pay for the little bistro set I bought for the patio! Or the upgrade to DXDP!
I'm just worn out - even with a nice relaxing day yesterday!
But there's work to be done so I must go do what they pay me to do! Catch ya later!

The Braves are playing the Brewers (go Braves!!) so we are spending the day doing some outlet shopping and hopefully going to a brewery (something I've never done) before the game tonight. Then coming home after the game is about a 2 hour drive and guess who has to work at 5am tomorrow! Oh well...thank the Lord for coffee! Have a great day everyone!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. Ours was much more relaxed than the previous weekend. I don't think we have much planned for this upcoming weekend either...but the last 2 weekends in May will be packed with things to do!!

Meghan... I had to make mine on the phone because the Nov 6th one is Maggie's 21st birthday.. and we will have a group of 12... and then 9 for all the other days.... MAYBE.... maybe because first...Maggie doesn't know how much time she will be able to get off work... and second..we have some friends who want to go with us.. she is a teacher and her vacation days have not been approved yet.... so I made the reservation for all of us... figuring it was easier to cancel a few off the reservation that it was to add people to the reservation....

Sheree.... Happy Anniversary and great job on the yard sale.... we will have one sometime in June.... can't wait to get rid of things around here.... plan on using the money to help with the Nov Disney trip also!!!

Just finished mowing the lawn now have to work on laundry and then finish up some work ( yes I have a full time job as well.... gotta love being able to work from home!!)

Yeah, our's look like they're 15 rows back and lefties will have their back to us! I couldn't believe it when those tickets were offered to me. Even though the Tigers aren't so good, I don't think I could seats that good.

That should be a blast!! I love going to Baseball games!!

I do, too! We're considering going to Cleveland (hee!) on our anniversary for another game. It's not that we don't have our very own lovely stadium, but we've never been to Cleveland. And we definitely want to go to Target field in Minneapolis and perhaps the Great American field in Cincinnati...

Yeah, I'll let you know! Given that his family is out your way, it's possible! We've done Toronto, both old and new Nationals (until I "broke up" with my best friend, we visited the DC area a lot), Boston, Detroit, Seattle... he's done both Chicago stadiums, the BaggieDome , San Francisco. (We try to time any city trip with a baseball game!)

I'm afraid to root for any team this year, for fear they'll start to stink like my Tigers and Red Sox. Although, if it's my fault, perhaps there ARE teams I can root for so they'll lose!

Still waiting for our friends vacation to be approved..... Tour Guide Mike came out with his park recommendations and it messed up my dining plans a little.... I called to tried and get them swtiched and NO LUCK... both Le Cellier and California Grill are booked solid the nights I want to go... looks like I will have to stick with the reservations I have....

wendy...I have been waiting for Mike to publish my dates also...I have to make ADRs on Monday...I was going to print it all out the day it came out..but I was sooo under the weather I haven't really looked at it! I am hoping later today or tomorrow to get a chance to make park plans and adrs...kinda had a plan in mind, but Disney is changing up the EMHs so much it messed up the TGM plans from the previous years, so they weren't as reliable for using as a guide this time...so I just waited and waited.... sorry you couldn't change your ressies! Hopefully the parks wont be too bad and it'll be okay!!
On another note...my ticker is at 6 months today!!! I have been looking forward to today, and my ADR day..then I will rest and not obsess until we are waaayyy closer!!! It's tooooo far to dwell on every day!! I would be nuts!! (Well, moreso than normal!!)
