Yeah, we do tend to have a lot of Mexican restaurants here in Texas, but at least they are good. The other day John was telling my sister about this queso dip that my brother in law makes (it has lots of fresh cilantro and is sooo good). He said, "yeah but Aunt Kassi this is Americanized queso b/c true Mexican queso dip is not made with yellow-orange cheese. They make it with white cheese." He saw that on the Food Network one day and I guess he remembered it.

Kim~ we are so goofy...we NEVER leave Disney!! Ha!! Once we get there, we stay...Mike said he would like to go to Universal when the kids are bigger...mostly dd I am thinking...but I would HATE to give up a Disney day!!!! And honestly...we haven't done the Harry Potter thing yet!! I need to read the books and see if I want them to get into it or not....i have heard so many varying opinions...I just need to see for myself and decide...but they aren't into that, so that's not gonna sway them!! Ha!!!
And yes, it does make you giddy....I have been hyper all day!!!

We are the same way Shawna!! We have no desire to leave WDW once we get there. Maybe someday when the kids are a little older, but for now we are all very content at WDW!!

We are also planning on a November trip to see Maggie for her 21st birthday while she is working the college program... haven't even thought about making a reservation yet.... guess I better get going on that... We are thinking of Nov 6-13... her birthday is the 6th and Daniel has the 11 and 12th off so he would only be missing 3 days of school.....

We are all into Harry Potter here. We always take the boys to see the midnight showings of the movies. The next time we go to WDW, we want to add a few days to the trip to see the WWoHP. We'll probably add a stay at Uni to the end of a WDW trip. That way we can still take DME to the WDW resort and get the benefits you get at Universal for staying at one of their hotels.

We've never left WDW either but I am a HP fan and have read all of the books. Once I priced it all out though I don't think I'm as big a fan as I thought I was! Plus I don't want to take any days away from Disney. I would have to add a day or two to our trip and that can get pretty costly. I think it will be strictly WDW for us- as usual! Someday I'll see the HP stuff at Universal.

Our mall has a carousel too! I will definately be telling Tony that we need to make a pit stop at the Disney store. I would still love to try and schedule a time to meet up!

Let me know when you'll be in town and I'll be there! I'd love to meet you guys too!

Shawna - if you guys REALLY want to stay at WL, why don't you look into renting points for VWL??? If you get a great deal you could ALL stay in a 2 bedroom for about the same or even less than what you would pay for the Beach Club! Just a thought! You should check it out! I hope all you ladies are having a great weekend. I found my diamond engagement ring and wedding band that I had lost.We went to lunch with my in laws at that Mexican restaurant. Then tomorrow I may go see a movie with my sister and the boys, not sure yet. The weather is just perfect!! If I had lawn furniture, I would just sit outside in my back yard all day.

I actually got our airfare at the beginning of March. The furthest out we have ever had everything booked!! I got RT for $158 pp. I figured it probably wasn't going to go much lower than that (even though we have gotten it lower in the past). And I was right, so far! It has done nothing but go up.

I looked into renting points. And was pretty close to booking with someone. But in the end I just thought it was too risky. There is pretty much no backing out once you are booked. Not that I ever plan to cancel at the last minute, but you just never know with kids. I didn't like the feeling of being locked in so early. Or the feeling of sending a stranger my money!!

You can't use any codes when you rent points. That was another thing I didn't like. . . Having to book so early when you don't know what specials will be out later.

You sure can get some great deals buy renting points though. Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to do it!!

I went out on a limb and tried renting points for August when we go to take Maggie for the college program.... we will be staying at the Boardwalk villas... the same studio that Disney wanted to give me with the 40% military discount was soemthing like $700-$800... thats with the discount if I remember correctly... I was able to rent points for $450...

HI Snowbirds!! Hope you are all having a great Monday. I'm trying to get here on a regular basis starting today. I've been so bad and really need to catch up.

I'm anxious to hear about all of these upcoming November trips since we are planning for Nov. 2011. I'm looking forward to a nice long relaxing trip. Our trip in Jan was too short and too rushed.

Hey girls! I think I finally got all my computer issues worked out... didn't have internet connection this weekend off and on...finally got a lady who comes to your house and fixes whatever...she was awesome..she is a divorced mom of 3 and this is her job!!! She worked on mine, worked on the modem and cleaned up Mikes computer!!! She was a Godsend!!!
Well....DD7 had quite the accident last night!!! To make it short..she hit her head on Mikes low boy (trailer) and cut a gash in the top of her head....thanks the Lord it wasn't worse! But you know how head wounds will bleed....finally got the butterfly bandaids to stick(getting in her hairline and coming off) and she didn't stop bleeding until around 1 this morning...so, I didn't sleep worth a hoot!!! She didn't either---she had to keep her head up on the pillow. She never uses one but every time her head went down it bled!!! So....I am kinda fried!!!!!!!! The Lord was watching over her...it could have easily been her eye!!!!!! I had lots of people praying for her!!! It was quite a lick!!!!

Hi Snowbirds!

We had a busy weekend. We worked on the room we are finishing for my day care- I am SO tired of being a part time construction worker. Last night we stayed up until 11 sanding the drywall. I'm hoping to paint by this weekend.

Kim- Wookie- Glad you found your rings!

Kim- NDG- Sorry to hear your babies are sick. Glad Ken is feeling well again! Hopefully you will be skipped and not get any of it.

Shawna- Does your computer gal travel? Mine keeps crashing for no reason. I think it's Windows Vista. Last weekend I bought an external hard drive so I don't lose everything if it dies. Get some rest today- head injuries can be very scary! Hope she's feeling better soon.

Anyone heard from Joni lately? I was thinking about her the other day.

Got another pin code yesterday for free QSDP during summer. We are already booked with DDP (and planning to upgrade!) What is wrong with Disney? Don't they know they need to send the codes to people who aren't already booked to entice them to come? Business 101 people!!

Kim (Monny) - way to go on getting that daycare room done! It is going to make your days so much easier to have your own space where you can just shut the door at the end of the day!

My girls were both feeling well enough to go back to school today! I did tell them both though that if they started to feel yucky that they could call home and I would come pick them up! We'll see if they last the day!

I haven't heard anything from Joni either - I've have been thinking about her too! Since April is Cancer awareness month! Hope she is doing all right!

Yeah huge Red Sox fan here, but way to go Twins yesterday!! I was actually cheering for them to win. I mean come on, new stadium, first home game...that's a must win!!

Glad to hear things are going pretty well for most. Life is crazy around here. I'm working 50+ hours a week, we'll have an insanely busy weekend at work and then we start Inventory times, so basically, I want to just cry...lol.

Hey! Computer lady had to come back today!!! It kinda reverted back to the same thing overnight...while in hibernation.......she had to wipe out the ENTIRE thing and redo it! I had to save all my pics and stuff first....so, hopefuly this is it! I have Windows Vista also....she thinks that when AT&T redid the driver with me onthe phone Sat they did something wrong and the computer couldn't tell which driver to read or ignore. So...we will see tomorrow after its not used all night what happens.
Gracie is feeling better...I gave her a bath today but we TOTALLY avoided the bobo area! I will let it soak in the tub tomorrow and reapply the band aids and neosporin....Hoping it doesnt re-open then!!!! YIKES!! She is eating good and watching lots of movies! So..I am sure she feels much better than yesterday. Thanks for worrying about my baby!! Love ya'll!!!!
