Meghan... I got that same pin code from Disney yesterday. I called them to see how I might save some money on my May 27th trip.... I currently gave the AP rate with dining... and we were buying our tickets with the military program (4 days for $99)... what I was able to do was to switch to the pin code rate, upgrade the quick service dining to regular dining and get one day tickets for everyone (which we will save for use at a later date) for $104.08... which means I got 4 one day tickets for the grand total of the $104.08... I thought that was a pretty good deal ... when I take Maggie to Disney in August for her college program internship we had not planned on going into the parks... I didn't want to make her two friends that are traveling with us buy tickets for one day... now I can use these tickets for the kids and surprise them and go into the parks for a day!!!! Can't wait... now to decide which park... I am thinking Magic Kingdom....

Wow! That's great!!! If I had to pick only one park to go to, I'd pick either MK or EP (my 2 favs!). No matter what time of year, you can always enjoy quite a few attractions at MK (with FP or course). At Epcot, it seems like the FP's go much quicker.

If I had to pick one park it would be a toss up between MK and Epcot. MK would be my first choice, I suppose.

Thinking about taking a quick trip to Orlando in June. We will be going to watch DH's niece graduate from high school. No time for Disney, though. It will be sad to be so close and not be able to go to my Happy Place.

We would probably have to split up if we could only do one park day. . . DS11 and I would go to DHS and DS8 and DH would go to Epcot!!

DS11 & I might compromise and go to Epcot with them. We do love it too.

I know, we're weird. MK isn't the favorite park for any of us.

Ooooh..how do you chose one park? I guess if you're going to have to have a tough decision, this is a good one to have! LOL! I'd have to choose Epcot or Magic Kingdom. I just LOVE Epcot!!

Me and the kids would have to split up with Dh...Me and the two littlest would be at MK...Mike and ds14 would probably be at HS.....Of course, we like to eat at Epcot...so that puts us in a quandry doesn't it?!!

My one park would either be MK or AK. I think I'd lean towards MK, simply because it's MK!

I have a hard enough time deciding if I had to give up one park which one. I could not just pick one!! We had to do it once before and the kids were young enough that it was a no-brainer - MK for sure! Now, it'd be tougher. I love love love EPCOT! The girls would still probably pick MK. This next trip, we're squeezing all four in on our 3 (maybe 4) park days.
I have GOT to start my PTR soon! Then I can fill you all in on my potential ideas/changes!

Okay girls!! Remember a week or so back I got that PIN code? Well...now that my computer is all fixed up....I got serious about pricing our Nov vacation....callled to make sure how much my code was for.....it said 20% off Value on the postcard...but I did get 40% off a standard room at the BC!!!!
I was sooo excited...so for us, it pans out to the same as FD!!!!!! It was such good news....and I had the BEST CM!!! AND...she was from Texas!! Right up in Dallas!!! We had the best little chat....she also put in a couple of room requests for me and we talked about how good it is the week or two before Thanksgiving...so it was great!!! I had to leave immediately after for church,so I didn't get to post last night. I told DH (remember he had wanted the WL before he realized that $625 a night room was the only one for a fam of 5).....and he said OH Great!!! I am so glad we are going back to the BC!!! I LOVE that place!!! Haven't told the kiddos..wont until after summer...remember mine don't like to know!!! I may not tell them at all...make it a total surprise again...telling them the day before we leave!!! Not sure if I will do a PTR.....I think I will just share info with all of you as it comes!!!Ya'll are my besties anyway!!!

That is great Shawna!!! I've read that 40% off a Deluxe is better than FD anyways. Isn't is wonderful when you have a great CM on the phone. I had a fabulous CM when I changed my room only to a package. She was so chatty and friendly. I wish I remember her name!!! I think the music playing while I was on hold was from Soarin' and I was really enjoying it. I usually get really into the music and get surprised when someone answers!!!

That's from "Journey into Imagination"!!! I think it's still at the very end of that ride. It always gets stuck in our heads and we end up singing it to each other for like an hour!!!!

I figured out on our last trip that free dining was not as good a deal as 40% off deluxe.

Well, didn't get on the computer last night - too much time outside playing and then catching up on TV! LOL!

But I was playing off the Stormalong Bay at BC.

Shawna - there are two threads (one got too big) on the Yacht and Beach clubs and they're so cool - very informative and a CM who is a greeter at BC, Teena, posts there and is SUPER nice and helpful. All the posters want to meet her when they go! It's really cute. I have gotten a lot of questions answered there just by reading it.

We're waiting and hoping for the rain showers to pass and DH and I are taking my parents to the Twins/Boston game this afternoon. Plus a guy is coming to tile our bathroom floor downstairs. (He's a neighbor). Busy busy!

Sheree~ I haven't looked at those in a while...do they have any new pics from the renos in the BC rooms? When we stayed there(06,07, and 08) they were still the older colors...pretty but I heard the new stuff is beautiful!!! We just loooove it over there...and hopefully the kids will be able to enjoy the pool a bit......it was just too cold in Dec---too many wet and drizzly days! I know here, it's still hot in Nov. We wear short sleeves on TG day most of the time, but the nights get cold so we dont swim after Halloween. We did get to meet Art the Greeter...heard he just retired...he was the sweetest man ever!!!! Guess what? The new slide at SAB should be completed in May...you will have to let us know what the girls think about it!!
