My 2 youngest were 17/18 months on their first Disney trips and it was awesome!!! my little boy remembered the Pooh ride for a loooong time...he would bounce like the ride when we saw Pooh shoes or talked to him about it....besides they are free on the plane too!!!!
Ok...so, Mike said no way on us taking a Disney trip while he and ds 14 are in NYC!! BUT!!! My bff (from Kindergarten!) is home for a week and we were talking about it today and she said, well Mike...let them come stay with me while ya'll do new york. She's in Maryland right outta DC!!!!! So... i think we may do that--that's gonna be our summer travelling except for the kids church camps and a few small trips to the Woodlands or Houston.....I thought that was a wonderful plan for her to come up with!!!
I loved it!
So... i am going to start officially planning my Nov trip since we are not going in April.!!
For those of you who remember about the passports...his came in last Wed!! Pretty quick even for being expedited I thought! So, ours should be in by next Friday I would think.

My cousin is getting married in Annapolis this July, so we have a mini Maryland trip this year.

Maybe you'll get the pin that Disney sent me in February (I think it's still being sent out). It's the 20/30/40 pin. It's only saving us around $200 right now, but 40% off a Deluxe is a much bigger savings. We want to do Fantasmic this Sept, but we're not doing the dinner package (just not enough TS credits and we don't want to pay OOP for 2 meals). If the line looks too crazy, we'll probably skip it (again). I've heard that if 2 shows are offered, the 2nd show isn't as busy.
We are planning on next May and pricing all of it, looking at resorts, blah blah blah. Then DH says last night what about the fall of 2011, if they offer a better deal for us? It really all depends on what type of offers come out and what would save us the best. Dining isn't a big thing for us- my kids are picky and we don't like too many sit downs. The kids stay play eat free would be awesome for us! Hopefully they offer it again next May. For now I just keep throwing a few extra dollars when I can into our vacation fund for it. I'm heading to the credit union tomorrow to open a savings account to keep us from spending it! I know we're going back and right now that's all that matters. All the details will fall into place!
I mean..this is REAL LIFE people!!! (That is directed to my older son in Algebra who wonders when will he use math in real life!! HA!!) Like my ticker? It's as close to London as I see myself getting in the near future!! I had to get one up there---couldn't stand the blank spot anymore!!
Then there's the cost of transportation between US and WDW and food while there, etc.
