Kim...I hate when insurance or taxes or anything like that gets messed up! It's suuuch a pain to straighten it out again! And it's always amazing to me how the people on the other end are never responsible...I hope they get it fixed up for ya in a jiffy!!!!
Good idea on not telling the kids!!!!We are leaving on a Sat now, instead of a Friday, but I am still using this ticker, and will still consider Friday my day-we have to board the dog on Friday anyway..so we are now 6 weeks away!!!!

I have good news and bad news this weekend.

The good news: In two weeks we leave for Disney! We'll be at SSR!

The bad news: DD was supposed to come for the entire week, but now she'll only be able to come for three, maybe four days.

The good news: BECAUSE SHE GOT A JOB! Full time, a job she wants! (sorry, ladies - Dale's got to come out sometimes!)

snykymom...good for your DD!!! Way to go! I know you are glad she still gets to come on vacation for a little while!!!
I am usually runnin' out the door this time of day on Sun...but dh has caught something awful and been up sick all night!! My friend took the kids and we will get together later for our weekly lunch/hang-out..but I gotta keep an eye on dh for a little bit--he had a rough go of it!
Hope you are all enjoying some good weather--ours was perfect yesterday and today!! we actually spend the day yesterday cleaning out and pressure washing the garage I always do this in the fall..so much junk accumulates in there, and I like to do it a few weeks before vacation-it's sort of a sign that the fall, holidays, and Disney are looming!!!!!

I've managed to contract viral bronchitis - whoops! I think the doctor was surprised when she asked me what I had and I said "something viral and something that antibiotics won't help..." but then I told her that I just can't sleep for the coughing.

My brother thinks it's funny - HE has mono and thinks that I managed to out-plague him. He's just tired, he says, but I get to sound all sorts of sick. I dunno. I think I'd rather have viral bronchitis... but hopefully, we'll both be in good shape. We fly to Boston two days before snykymom flies to Disney, so the countdown is on! I can't wait to see my niece again and maybe even meat snykymom!

Well - I hope all you sickies feel better soon! My DH has a cold that's been going around. I've managed to avoid it so far (knock wood).

Kim - Dang insurance people! I think they're worse than lawyers (I can say that because I am a lawyer!) I hope it all gets straightened out soon.

Oh, we have been enjoying some GORGEOUS weather here! 80 and sunny! It's like summer again for us! Of course, by the time Halloween rolls around, it will be about 30 degrees for trick or treating time! I'm going to enjoy this as much as possible!

So I'm really behind on my TR - I forgot all about it this last week I was so busy! I'm so close to being finished - about one or two days left. I have to carve out some time to get going on it. Maybe I'll bring my journal to work with me one day this week.

So I got a pin code the other day. DH actually said I could price it for a quick long weekend trip this fall. The deal was great - actually less expensive than the other trip we were looking to take. But the airfare!!! Holy cow! Almost $500/person. That is way insane. So, we are sticking with our short driving trip . So dissapointed. I was hoping to squeeze a Disney trip in. Oh well.

Good evening my birdies! Holy crap we are having some AMAZING weather!! This week has been in the 70's. Yesterday and today I had off, so I went on a 2 mile walk both days. Today it was with a double stroller....man my legs hurt!

We're 57 days out. 2 months from right now, our plan is to be at EPCOT having some adult beverages.

Spent some time last night and tonight looking for designs for our shirts. Probably do about 2 per person, which would come to a total of 18 shirts to make .

Hey birdies!!!!Well,..today(or tomorrow) is my 5 week mark! I can't believe it!! We had to get an early flight again...was hoping for the 10:45, but got the 8:40....means getting to Disney earlier, but puts us in an early morning dilemma!!! We are around an hour and a half from the airport, but we would have to factor in time to park and shuttle over from a parking area....if we dont do it like this, Mike is wanting to stay in a hotel right there at the airport and have them shuttle us and not pay extra for parking. Not sure yet what we are gonna do...if we drive in on Sat, we will have to leave at like 5:30...that gives us time to drive over, but only an hour or so at the airport...if something took longer at the parking place, it would cut into that time. Our airline stops checking in at 45 min prior to the flight. I dont know...I need to think it over. We had a 7:30 flight last year, and the hotel shuttled us over at 6....so, maybe doing that and shuttling over at 7ish would be the best bet. who knows....I dont like that idea, because I have to pack an extra overnight bag separate from our luggage. I am NOT repacking!!! oh well....I will hopefully figure it out this weekend. I am working on my toiletry/snack box to ship now. Got the shampoos, toothpastes, etc..next will be meds.....then snax...gonna do a little each week and have it ready to go the full week before we go so I am not worrying about it!!! sorry this sounds so rambly!! I am in a muddle!!

I might consider the hotel stay... if you take what the cost of parking would be for leaving your car at the airport and deduct that from the hotel cost... and the fact that they will drop you off right in front of the airport then it might be a win win.....

Wendi...That's what I am leaning toward the closer I get!!! LOL!! Last year it was about 99 for the hotel for the night and the parking was no extra..all included, and the to & fro shuttle.....The parking place would be a bit cheaper, but we still would be getting up at the crack of dawn!!! I need to put it down on my list for things to do this week, Mike and I will look at what hotel we want and then reserve the room!!! YAY!!!!

Good evening everyone, actually I can say Morning since it's 12:10am....should I be sleeping, well yes actually I should be.

We've spent the past week looking at a lot of our disney stuff to see if there is anything we need to change. Things look pretty good. We decided to book the Fantasmic Dining Package. We will be using some gift cards that we got for getting the Disney credit card, so no one has to use a lot out of pocket.

My Disney Vacation binder looks fantastic!!

As for more decisions, we have the vast majority of our shirt designs picked out.

Also realized that 2 months from now, we'll be home
