I love the fact that you can't remember what happened that afternoon! That happened to me on my last TR! HAHA, I was like, uhhhh, what DID we do?!?!?

MSEP is pretty awesome! It gets me in the Disney mood like nothing else! (Well, besides walking down Main Street, oh and hearing EPCOT entrance music, and watching Illuminations, and eating a Mickey waffle.... ) What a beautiful photo sequence of the castle!

Hi Joni! A little late late to your report, but as always really enjoying it. We were there the week before you and also had a great dinner at LeCellier. I loved the Passion Fruit Sorbet.

Can't wait to read the rest and have a great trip. We aren't going back until Ocotober so please keep going with the trip reports as I need to live vicariously through them until we get back.

Side note time: There is a video coming up in my TR that I took of MSEP. (I dunno if you watch those ridiculous videos that I post, but if you DO, be on the lookout hahh.) Anyways, I am basically actin' a fool and yelling at all the characters and when the 'to honor America' float comes by, I keep saying, "She's HAPPY. She's happy TOO." Good Lord, I'm obnoxious. Great installments. That's so funny that you say the Boo To You Parade changed your life. I enjoyed taking my little girl to MNSSHP (she was adorable as Alice), but I was feeling a tad bit ripped off - until I saw the Boo To You parade. I'm not a huge parade lover - but it was one of my favorite things about our October trip. I got really jazzed about the Headless Horseman. I loved it from start to finish. It was worth every dime.

Seriously though, isn't that parade amazing?! I have never loved a parade so much in my life! And you're right, the Headless Horseman was amazing!! I love when they have the guy with the dog from the HM too!

I am a horrible note taker (I'm trying harder I promise) so I know what you mean! I will go to work on a TR and I cannot remember the order of things etc. If I can't go off of my pictures then I am totally lost. This is even worse when it's been a while (I'm guilty of that too) because I can barely remember what I did yesterday let alone several months ago.

I love the MSEP too, and I think we are in the minority, but I don't care! However the Boo to You parade far excedes any other parade in awesomness. Even Jack (who was only 2 and a half at the time) still talks about it now, almost 2 years later!

I am pretty bad about it too, I was awful on our past trip! I'm determined to do better in July because we have so much going on! I'm the same way with remembering, too. I have no clue what happened!

YAY! Another MSEP fan! There are more of us than I thought! That parade really is amazing! Haha that's so cool that Jack still talks about it! He's got good taste!

THE ELECTRICAL PARADE WAS HAPPENING. If you remember from my rambling in my past TRs, I have an unhealthy obsession with the MSEP. I know it’s lame, and outdated, and a little bit creepy, but I love it. I love it so much I can’t stand it. You know how they say, “If you love it so much, why don’t you marry it?“ Well, I would. I would totally marry the MSEP. Or, John could marry it, and the parade and I could be sister wives. I don’t really care, I just love this freaking parade. The music has been my ring tone for like two years, and it never gets old. I realize this classifies me as potentially insane, but I don’t care. It’s my second favorite parade of all time (following the MNSSHP’s Boo to You parade, which changed my life) and I will love it forever.

Are you getting that I love this parade? Okay, just checking.

When I left off it was time for The Magic, The Memories, and You to start! I had never seen this show before, so I was super excited! I spent the entire show in a sort of blind panic as I tried to find the perfect balance between enjoying the splendor and photographing it. Unfortunately, my camera was not very cooperative, so the pictures I ended up with leave something to be desired. I’ll post them anyway!

When the castle turned into a gingerbread house, I literally couldn’t handle it. MIND BLOWN. Forgive my blurry picture, but you can sort of see the gingerbread-iness.

If you haven’t seen this show, it is amazing and perfect and wonderful and fabulous! I was so impressed with the special effects on the castle, and it provided yet another tear-jerking soundtrack. Absolutely amazing! I read the other day that they started turning the castle into a sandcastle for summer. AHH. I can’t wait to see that!

Right after The Magic, Memories, and You, it was time for Wishes! (Note- these are by far the best Wishes pictures I’ve ever taken. They’re still not that spectacular, but compared to what I usually end up with, I’m really proud! Enjoy! )

Sorry for the eight million pictures of Wishes, but I really wanted to share them with you guys! That show will never get old, and neither will the soundtrack. I just listened to it and bawled my eyes out. You’d think that after hearing it hundreds and hundreds of times I might develop some sort of emotional callous, but nope. Still gets me every time.

Anyway, after the beautiful castle shows it was time to enjoy some Extra Magic Hours! Jess (DisneyFreak508) was also in the Magic Kingdom that night, and we had been texting back and forth trying to figure out a time we could meet up. Plus, John and I had big plans for our evening!

So, would we have a successful evening? Would Jess and I be able to meet up? You'll have to stay tuned to find out!

We start exams tomorrow (last day of classes was today - WOOT WOOT!!!) and our graduation is next Friday, so I'll be drunk on that beginning-of-summer feeling too then!

The MSEP music makes me teary-eyed because it was my very first WDW parade when I was 12 (yes, I'm that old) and it reminds me of my family's trip there on our way back to the States after living in the UK for 3 years. We had such an amazing time and with both my parents gone, those memories are super special to me!!!!

Isn't the castle beautiful at Xmas? I LOVE these new lights!!!! So magical!!! Can't wait to hear about your EMH evening at MK, I LOVE staying late at MK!!!!

OMG I know. Even though I was watching the show from the train station (BAH) I still went bananas over that gingerbread castle. I mean it only lasted for like 3 seconds, but it was amazing nonetheless haha. (I was wrong though... the pictures didn't make me cry. I'm legitimately baffled at the moment.)

I'm so glad you put (all our wishes) in parenthesis. That echo is very important to the song! It just wouldn't flow right without it.
