Snow White Does the Creep on the Trip that Almost Wasn't A Dec 11/Jan 12 TR 7/24 NEW

OMG waking up from naps in Disney is the BEST. I love suddenly having tons of energy again and feeling like I can conquer the World!! Also, I'm so happy your foot pain had gone away! Seems like the pixie dust kicked in just in time for NYE.

LMAO I am cracking up at the succession of pictures ending with one of the wall. At least you guys look really cute in the pics that you are actually in... LOL!

Yay! I'm glad you guys were able to get into DHS. Loving the deer face btw.

haha, I LOVE that pic of you between the trees and with the New Years hat on! So fun!

Wooohooo for the impromptu dance party in the turkey leg line! See, that's something that would totally only happen in Disney.

It's ok that you weren't on the Boulevard for the fireworks, as long as you were together, that's what counts!

What is it about the rice at Yak&Yeti? I always really enjoy everything there except the rice. I guess they figure there is so much other yummy stuff that they just don't have to put much effort into it. :confused3 I'm so glad you experienced the awesomeness that is the fried wontons. I think they are the best dessert in Disney, too! :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, your impromptu photo session was so strange! Why would anyone think they need to take that many pictures?! At least you got a really funny story out of it! :lmao:

I like the AI Experience, too! We don't do it too often because Miguel isn't too fond of it, but I enjoy it every once in a while. It would be so much better without the crazy judges, though.

Yay for your next trip being so close! :woohoo:

Oh yay I'm so glad you updated today! I needed something to console my boredom

YOUR TRIP IS SO SOON!!! ::banana: I seriously am so excited for you!!

YAY FOR NO FOOT PAIN! AND YAY FOR YOUR MONORAIL SHIRT!

hahaha I'm literally laughing out loud about your photographer friend. That's too funny! It reminds me of Kristen's Mom. She's always like "WAIT! ONE MORE... HOLD ON!" So funny. :lmao:

YESSS STAR TOURS DEER FACE. Joni, you're perfect!

LOL my one friend told me that if you go up to the cast member and say "I'm feeling rebellious today," chances are they'll make you the rebel spy. So maybe you can some how sneak over to them and say that John is feeling rebellious :p Worth a shot, right?

I WANTED ONE OF THOSE HATS SO BAD! And I wasn't going to a park that night so I was disappointed at first, but then we ended up getting some thanks to my crazy night where I was just runnin' all over Disney World. Ahh what a great night. That was literally the best NYE of my life.

I WANT THOSE ORNAMENTS TOO! I see them everywhere.

I"ve never had a turkey leg either! I don't want to know how many calories are in that thing. I'm literally scared. :rotfl: Even though calories don't count in Disney... I'm still curious. Maybe one day I'll try one... but I really am not too concerned about it. I have red velvet cupcakes and THE BREAD to eat in the mean time.

HAHAHA you guys are frumps, I love it. :thumbsup2 Happy New Year!

Yay! I'm glad I was able to make you less bored! :)

I can't believe how close it is! We're down to 35 days! EEP!

I was so relieved when I felt better! And I love that shirt! :goodvibes

Haha that lady was very eager to take pictures...lots and lots of pictures...bless her.

Thank you! :cutie: I was pretty proud of my first deer face!

Oooh thank you for that information! I will try anything! Poor John wants to be the rebel spy so badly!

Haha I remember texting you on that night! I was so impressed; you were all over the place! Yay for getting a hat!

Seriously, I need to just break down and buy those ornaments. They're great!

That's right, calories don't count in Disney! :rotfl: I wouldn't waste any of those nonexistent calories on the turkey leg, though. THE BREAD and red velvet cupcakes are much better!

We are quite frumpy! :lmao:

YAY for your foot pain being gone! Thank goodness!!! Naps are wonderful and refreshing and definately give you a new lease on life, don't they? And waking up at Disney IS fabulous!!! Those pictures are a riot! I don't know how you kept from just completely losing it though laughing! I would have been crying with laughter by about the 4th picture! That is sweet though! Can't wait to hear more of your night!

Thank you! I was so relieved it went away! :goodvibes Waking up in Disney is great! Haha that was such a bizzare experience, I'm surprised we didn't crack up too!

I was gonna comment on these updates, and then I read this. Jess, we're the same. I literally almost thought I had already commented because it sounds like what I was gonna say. Joni, definite :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 on that deer face!

Haha I love that you guys are so similar! :goodvibes Thanks, I was excited about that deer face!

Wo-hoo on the foot pain being gone!!!

So for the Rebel Spy... I have heard if you sit down, sit straight up, look forward without your glasses on you have a good shot at being chosen... of course that is rumor but you never know!!

Congrats on the free hats!!

I honestly cannot handle crowds so I give you kudos for even being there on New Years!!

I was so relieved it went away! :goodvibes

Ooh..thanks for the info! I'll tell John to make sure he does that next month! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I still have them haha! I love free stuff!

It was crazy crowded, but doable! That is, until it was almost midnight. Then we just had to get out of there!

I'm sorry that John is leaving soon :( but it's cool that you're almost done with school!

YAY NO MORE FOOT PAIN!!! Ahhh, a miracle. :worship: AND you're wearing the alejado monorail shirt! What a blessed occasion.

Bless that little old lady's soul! That is the funniest thing! :lmao: Yall's facial expressions get more and more amused!

Hmmm... I think I will save my comments on the American Idol finale for the time being. ;)

Yeah, I don't get why the AIE 'judges' try to act like Simon, Paula, and Randy either... especially since Simon and Paula are quite gone (thank goodness). Did you notice that the Duets show commercials were making fun of them too? Like yall, I dunno if you've noticed, but JLo and STy are nothing the same as the old judges... it's irrelevant!

Hahahah I'm thinking there's no graceful way to eat a turkey leg. I can't stand feeling greasy like you said so I feel for you! Ick.

Happy New Year tram operator!

Thanks! He left yesterday, and I finished with work yesterday as well. The good news is he will be back in about three weeks, and then we will only be two weeks from DISNEY!

I was so happy about my foot pain being gone, I just had to celebrate with the monorail shirt!

I understand. As much as I adore Phil Phillips, I was very surprised that he won.

Seriously, they need to let the whole Simon and Paula thing go! I don't get it.

Haha yeah trying to look pretty while gnawing on a giant steroid-infused mutant bird leg is not possible. I don't think I'll be having one of those again anytime soon.

That tram operator was a party animal, I'm telling ya. Those people in DHS really missed out! :lmao:

Okay I am all caught up.

I'm sorry about your fight, that's the worst. But I did think that people did start speaking in a very proper manner when nice-talking after a fight? :lmao:

Love the Calvin and Hobbes poem. I still mourn the loss of Calvin and Hobbes and think it was the best comic strip of life. I named my first cat Hobbes because of it.

Your plans were so eerily similar to ours, I wonder if we came within inches of each other there. We had lunch at Yak and Yeti also, and we spent NYE at DHS.

Hahaha maybe they do? You never know! We don't fight that much, so we could be doing it wrong! :lmao:

I totally agree with you! I miss that comic strip so much! That's so cute that you named your cat after Hobbes! :goodvibes

That is so crazy! We probably did! Ahhh next time I will know better and we will coordinate a DISmeet! :thumbsup2

Yay, I'm glad you woke up pain free! :cool1:

Aww, that was nice of that old lady to take your picture...not sure why she took so many, but still, it was nice of her! :rotfl:

I've still never done the American Idol Experience, and I probably never will! I can't watch that show, it is so annoying to me! :rotfl: Everyone else in the world likes it though, sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me for not liking it!

Yay, Star Tours! Ever since I was the rebel spy in October, when I go in and sit down, I make sure I'm smiling and not making any weird faces, because when I was the rebel spy, the picture they took of me was awful! :rotfl: So if I'm ever the spy again, I'll be prepared! :rotfl2:

YAY A TURKEY LEG!!! :cool1: So glad you guys finally tried one, they are SO good! Yes, it's perfectly acceptable to rip into that thing like a caveman while walking around a Disney park!

Ugh, I'm sorry DHS was so crowded! I want to go to Disney SO bad for New Year's one year, but I'm afraid of those crowds! That's really sweet that you guys celebrated the new year on the tram! Things like that happen to Brandon and I all the time too! :rotfl2:

Thank you! I was so happy it was gone!

Haha yeah it was nice of her! We have lots of pictures to commemorate that meal now!

I understand your feelings about AI. I love that show, but it even gets on my nerves sometimes.

Haha that's so cool that you were the rebel spy, even if you were making a funny face! :lmao: John will be so jealous!

I did enjoy the flavor of the turkey leg, but I'm not sure I'll be having another anytime soon!

Yeah, Disney around New Years is great, but so insanely crowded. Sometimes it's almost too much to handle!

Oh my.... I am terrified of birds! :rotfl2: Flights of Wonder is one thing I will NEVER EVER do! :rotfl:

Sooooo happy you had no more foot pain!! :cool1: What a great way to wake up!!

I love your photo shoot! Also, super funny!!!/very awkward!!!

I just about died when I saw the picture you took at AIE with the strange lady in the background!!!! :rotfl2: I'm actually laughing out loud at your analysis!!

OMG I love your hat! Too cute! I love how rang in the New Year on the tram! :rotfl2: Too funny!!

I don't blame you; they're scary!

Thanks! I was so relieved it was gone! :goodvibes

Haha thank you! It was very awkward!

Haha I'm glad I made you laugh! That lady's facial expression is just so confusing.

Thanks! I love that hat too. I still have it! Actually, I think I still have like three of them!

I have been following along and have been enjoying your TR. I am so jealous your getting so close to returning. I have at least a year but most likely more until I get to go to WDW. I do get to go to Disneyland for one day in June, but it's just not the same. Oh well

:welcome: Thanks for following along! I'm sorry you have a while until your next trip, but that's so exciting that you are going to DL soon! That will be great! :goodvibes I hope you have a blast!

It's ok that you weren't on the Boulevard for the fireworks, as long as you were together, that's what counts!

You're right, Disney naps are always ridiculously refreshing, especially when you've been going nonstop. Sometimes they're just necessary!

Thank you! Haha those pictures were so odd, and the wall picture just finished it off with a bang I think.

I was surprised DHS wasn't closed! Haha thanks, I was proud of my deer face!

Thank you! I was feeling so much better after my foot feeling better, I just had to celebrate!

You're right, that's totally a Disney-norm type thing. I love it!

Awww you're exactly right! We had a great New Year on our little tram! :lovestruc

:woohoo:

Haha that is weird about the rice! I guess they just put it there to make the plate look pretty! Seriously, it was your TR update about the wontons that made me have to go there. THANK YOU!!!

Haha I have no idea! It was really weird, but she was sweet.

I wish they would just get rid of those judges!

I'm so excited!!

Hi everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t updated for a while, but things have been crazy around here! Yesterday was graduation at the high school where I work, which means as of yesterday afternoon I am officially on summer break! WOO HOO! I have a three day conference I have to go to at the end of June, but other than that I’m free until the end of July! Can I get an amen? :worship:

On a sad note, John left for Texas yesterday morning. :( I’m sad and I miss him already, but I keep telling myself he will be back in three weeks! And then we will only be two weeks away from our trip!

Speaking of the trip...it’s June, so we are officially going to Disney NEXT MONTH! :woohoo: In 35 days, to be exact. But who’s counting? Oh, that’s right...I AM. 5 WEEKS AHHH!! :hyper:

Okay on with the update! John and I woke up on the first day of 2012 to a terrible realization: we had slept through our early morning ADR at Crystal Palace! Oopsie! Haha, I seriously don’t know what happened. It’s not like we had any excuse to sleep in, considering we didn’t really have a crazy New Year’s Eve. :confused3 Unless, of course, you consider sitting on a tram and finding your car in a parking lot partying like a rockstar. Anyway, we honestly weren’t too broken up about missing the ADR. As much as I LOVE Crystal Palace, we were really just feeling like taking it easy a little bit, so we decided to try the breakfast at Pepper Market!

DSCN0469.jpg

If you didn’t already know, Pepper Market has a buffet style breakfast that is a really good price and quite delicious. I was happy overall, except for one thing. There was a specific station that had hot food items and a ham carving station, and the lady running that thing was MEAN. We’re talking lunch lady mean, y’all. I seriously felt like I was back in the 4th grade, holding my tray and mumbling, “Umm...can I get some sausage?” while she scowled at me. :guilty: I seriously don’t know what her problem was, but she was plain nasty. Um, hello? Even though your job is carving ham and handing out sausage links, you work in DISNEY lady. Get it together.

Anyway, after we finished breakfast we realized that we had still managed to wake up early enough to make it to rope drop at DHS! Even though we had been having a great vacation, we hadn’t been able to hit many rides since it was so crowded, so we agreed to go to DHS and try to knock out some of our favorites!

I guess everyone was spending January 1, 2012 sleeping in, because that place was dead! Check out this crazy line at TSM!

DSCN0470-1.jpg

But really, how often do you see that?

Even though there was literally no wait, I couldn’t resist pausing to take some pictures!

DSCN0471.jpg

Within seconds of getting in line we were seeing this beautiful sight!

DSCN0472.jpg

I WILL COLLECT THEM ALL. :lovestruc

DSCN0473.jpg

*Sigh* I love Toy Story so much.

I had a pretty decent game, not my best, but not bad. I still managed to beat John (AGAIN) and I got best in vehicle!

DSCN0474.jpg

DSCN0475.jpg

I didn’t beat him by much, though! He’s getting better...

After TSM we booked it over to ToT! We usually ride this about fifty million times on our trip, so it was so weird barely riding it at all on this one!

DSCN0479.jpg

So much fun! That ride never gets old. I think it’s sheer brilliance that the ride sequence is random. It makes it so much more exciting! Breaking news- DISNEY HAS GOOD IDEAS. I know, right? Shocking. In other news, Catholic bears poop in the woods when the sky is blue.

What did I just say? I have no idea.

Aaaaanyway, after ToT it was time for a personal favorite of mine, Rock’n Roller Coaster!

AHHH I LOVE THIS FREAKING RIDE. Aerosmith is just so cool, and that ride really makes you feel like a rock star. I want to ride that thing with Steven Tyler. How cool would that be? Except at the beginning when the “limo” takes off Steven’s super long sparkly scarf would probably get wrapped around our necks and strangle us both. This is why we can’t go on rides with famous people, folks. Write that down. Remember what happened to Fabio? Exactly.

While I was waiting in line I took a terrible picture of this Rod Stewart shirt.

DSCN0480.jpg

Okay, indulge me for a moment, because I need to complain. Rod Stewart is my absolute favorite artist of all time EVER. Seriously, I’m not joking, I’m obsessed with him. The first concert I ever went to was when I was five years old, and it was Rod Stewart, y’all. So anyway, he’s coming to Greensboro, which is like ten minutes from where I live, in August for a concert with Stevie Nicks. Now here’s the upsetting part...I DON’T HAVE TICKETS. WAHHHH. They are outrageously expensive and when they went on sale I just couldn’t afford them. I have been desperately searching Craigslist every day hoping to find something affordable, but nothing has come up yet. I seriously don’t know how I’m going to survive not going to this concert, you guys.

So there’s my sad story. I’ll keep you updated.

What is up with me today? This update is all over the place.

After we finished up at Rock’n Roller Coaster I was ready for a snack, so I had my second red velvet cupcake of the week! I was so excited to eat it that I didn’t even take a picture, but it looked exactly like the first one I had.

Since we hadn’t even planned on coming to DHS that day, we were both ready to leave pretty early, so after our snack we decided to head back to the resort for a little while!

Note- I just realized this update has literally no pictures. Sorry about that! I will make up for it later, I promise! Don't hate me!

Up Next: Our most productive night at MK ever! Stay tuned!

I can tell this update is gonna to be funny, I already cracked up at the title alone. :lmao:

AMEN! Congrats on being (practically) done! At the rate time has been flying lately, I have a feeling those weeks will go by in the blink of an eye.

Mean sausage link lady? A word of advice: you take PRIDE in that job! Hand those sausage links and that ham out with a smile and a song! Did Snow White teach you NOTHING? :sad2:

WHAAAT. I've never in my living years seen such a sight as that empty TSM line. What on earth! Did you skip through that thing singing? I feel like I would just have to skip and sing if I saw that. And then ride TSMM 500 times in a row. AND GET THE BEST SCORES EVER. Your score is awesome!!

OMG FABIO IS THE ONE THAT GOT HIT IN THE FACE WITH A BIRD RIGHT? Because that totally happened at the Busch Gardens I frequent. On one of the best rides. HAHAHAHA. Sorry... sorry Fabio. Maybe we could just kindly suggest to STy to take the scarf off for a few minutes.

I'm sorry you can't go see Rod Stewart. :( And I'm sorry that this comment was so ridiculous and long.

Really enjoying your trip report! When I'm having a ho-hum day, it brings a smile to my face :) The pictures the lady took in the Pepper Market are great - too funny! If you had a choice of going around the Christmas/New Year's holiday or July, which do you prefer?

Aww I'm sorry John left :( But he will be back and then it's DISNEY TIME! It'll all be good. :goodvibes I'm excited for you guys!! Your trip is so soon!

I probably was at Hollywood that morning. What the heck was I doing? ..... Oh wait. I think I slept in a little bit and then I went to Epcot. The ONE morning. :rotfl:

Yay can't wait for the next update!

AHHH you and John are so close! Allie and I have 40 days, so in a Lent's worth of time we'll be there!

I always wanted to try the Pepper Market buffet, but I never got the chance when I stayed there. I guess I'll just have to stay there again! <3

HAHAHA the sausage lady....why aren't people working for Disney and wearing awesome costumes ALWAYS happy?? Boggles my mind....

WOW. I don't think I've ever seen TSM so empty! :thumbsup2

ToT and RNRC are seriously my two favorite WDW rides besides my MK top 5. They're so awesome! I also love the random sequence on ToT! It's so fun!!

YUMMM the cupcake. Can't wait for more!

That stinks that you missed your CP ADR, but it sounds like it all worked out for the best. Sometimes unplanned days turn out to be favorites! I can't believe how crazy the TSM line (or lack thereof) was. That is definitely something I've never seen! Can't wait to hear about this MK evening! popcorn::

I didn't know the Pepper Market had a breakfast buffet, maybe if we knew that when we stayed there we wouldn't have hated it so much! (Just kidding, I didn't hate it, I think I was just anxious to get to WL!)

Yay you're trip is getting close! 5 weeks! :yay: My trip is 23 weeks away! That's just too many weeks. :sad2:

Wow, TSM is so empty! :scared1:

Haha, Disney has good ideas! Catholic bears? Strange...

Hope you get your Rod Stewart tix!

Haha thanks! I hope the update didn't disappoint...I feel like the funniness (??) kind of peaked at the beginning, and then it all went downhill. *sigh* This is the story of my life.

AHH thank you! I'm so excited! Even though it sucks having John gone, just knowing this is like the last thing I have to "get through" before our trip is pretty exciting. It's almost here!! And so it yours!! :woohoo:

Seriously! She should have made a Mickey head out of that sausage...well, that might be difficult...a Pluto head! There we go.

It was amazing! I'm pretty sure there was skipping involved, and lunges, and maybe even a little bit of two-steppin'. Don't let my mama know.

That's so funny that happened near you! I'm sorry, but of course Fabio would get hit in the face by a bird. It's such a Fabio thing to do.

Thanks. :) I'm bummed, and I'm seriously hoping for a miracle (Mushu? Is that you?) so I can get some tickets! And I LOVE your ridiculous comments! They are the greatest. Don't feel bad, anyway. I just left a train wreck of a comment on your TR so have fun reading that one. ;)

Really enjoying your trip report! When I'm having a ho-hum day, it brings a smile to my face :) The pictures the lady took in the Pepper Market are great - too funny! If you had a choice of going around the Christmas/New Year's holiday or July, which do you prefer?

Aww thank you! I'm so glad that you enjoy my report and it can make you smile! That makes me feel great!

Honestly, I would DEFINITELY prefer July. I know that probably sounds crazy, because of the heat and the crowds and the lack of Christmas decorations, but something about being in Disney in the summer just works for me. I love it, and I would pick a summer trip a million times over a winter trip! :)

Aww I'm sorry John left :( But he will be back and then it's DISNEY TIME! It'll all be good. :goodvibes I'm excited for you guys!! Your trip is so soon!

Yay can't wait for the next update!

Thanks! I'm bummed, but it's so exciting knowing how close we are! 33 DAYS! I can't believe it!

Oh..speaking of being close to a trip...isn't a certain lovely lady going to DISNEYLAND in 73 days? Hmm...that sounds pretty FREAKING AMAZING. Just sayin'. ;)

Hahaha you needed to sleep in! You were all over that place on NYE! I don't see how you do it!

AHHH you and John are so close! Allie and I have 40 days, so in a Lent's worth of time we'll be there!

I always wanted to try the Pepper Market buffet, but I never got the chance when I stayed there. I guess I'll just have to stay there again! <3

YUMMM the cupcake. Can't wait for more!

Yay!! We're all getting so close! I'm really looking forward to meeting up! :goodvibes

That sounds like a great excuse to stay there again! ;) It's really good, despite the hateful sausage lady!

Haha but seriously. I think I would be happy cleaning toilets if I worked at Disney.

I was so shocked when I saw how empty it was! It was amazing!

ME TOO! Especially RnRC. I love that ride so much, and I can't wait for my mom to ride it next month! She is Steven Tyler obsessed, so it's going to be fun to ride it with her! :goodvibes

I can't believe how crazy the TSM line (or lack thereof) was. That is definitely something I've never seen! Can't wait to hear about this MK evening! popcorn::

At the time I really didn't mind missing the ADR, but I sure did later because I missed Crystal Palace! :( It's such a perfect breakfast spot, I couldn't believe I missed out on it! Plus I'm pretty sure they charged us a fee for not showing up! :headache:

That TSM was awesome! We couldn't believe it!

It was a great evening! We had a blast! It's going to be a great couple of updates! :thumbsup2

Haha I dunno, that sausage lady might have made you hate it even more! :rotfl:

AHH I'm so excited! Your time will fly by! It will be here before you know it! :)

That was so amazing! I couldn't believe the emptiness!

Yeah, I'm weird. I did a mash up of, "The Pope is Catholic," "Bears poop in the woods," and "the sky is blue." You know, all the DUH stuff that's super obvious, kind of like Disney having good ideas! ;)

Thank you!! I hope I do too...fingers crossed for a miracle! :goodvibes

Hi everyone! :wave2: I am determined to finish this TR before my next trip, so I’m back with another update! I only have 33 days, but I don’t want to be too rushed so I’m just going to try to post every other day or so. Let’s do this!

When I left off John and I were leaving DHS after quite the productive morning. It was around lunchtime when we made it back to the resort. Now, here’s where it gets weird. Apparently we slipped into some kind of Bermuda triangle-esque black hole, and I have NO CLUE what we did that afternoon. Seriously, I did not take one iota of notes, and I have no recollection whatsoever of the events that transpired.

Okay, so as I type this out I am beginning to realize that all signs are pointing toward an alien abduction. This is real, people. This happened. I’ve been to outer space, and I’ve probably become best friends with ET. Unfortunately I was a bad DISer and didn’t take my journal with me.

But really, I have no clue what we did. I do know, however, know that around nightfall we were on our way to the beautiful Magic Kingdom! :thumbsup2 They had EMHs scheduled until 3am, and I was determined to stay there until closing.

Would I make it, or would I wimp out? You'll have to stay tuned to find out...

We knew it was going to be a good night when we parked our car here!

John is borderline obsessed with Scar. He’s his favorite Disney villain besides Prince John from Robin Hood, and I’m pretty sure he only likes him because they have the same name.

Little known fact about alien abductions: they leave you feeling quite refreshed. John and I were both feeling footloose and fancy free.

We are the tram party pros. Be jealous.

Oh lord, I look like someone’s grandmother in that picture. I’m only twenty-five, I swear!

So, once we made it into MK I made a fantastic discovery…

THE ELECTRICAL PARADE WAS HAPPENING. If you remember from my rambling in my past TRs, I have an unhealthy obsession with the MSEP. I know it’s lame, and outdated, and a little bit creepy, but I love it. I love it so much I can’t stand it. You know how they say, “If you love it so much, why don’t you marry it?“ Well, I would. I would totally marry the MSEP. Or, John could marry it, and the parade and I could be sister wives. I don’t really care, I just love this freaking parade. The music has been my ring tone for like two years, and it never gets old. I realize this classifies me as potentially insane, but I don’t care. It’s my second favorite parade of all time (following the MNSSHP’s Boo to You parade, which changed my life) and I will love it forever.

Are you getting that I love this parade? Okay, just checking.

Unfortunately I came in at the tail end, so I only caught the last float. Don’t worry, I still took pictures.

Oh MSEP, you complete me.

I was bummed that I missed most of the parade, but I realized they had another one later that night so I was happy again.

BALLOONS!

I was distracted by the sensory overload that was the MSEP and the lovely balloons, but soon enough my eyes fell upon the most beautiful sight in the world.

Let’s get a little closer…

Liiiiiittle closer…

There we go. Maximum creep potential reached.

It’s SO PRETTY.

Wishes was rapidly approaching, but first, I had to see the Magic, Memories, and You show…FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Up Next: I lose my mind when the castle turns into a gingerbread house. Stay tuned!

YAY MORE FREQUENT UPDATES!!! That seriously just made me so happy. I feel like I need to do the same thing... I'm dragging that thing out too long. Thank you for inspiring me! "YOU'RE THE INSPIRATION!" (Thank you, Chicago the band, for THAT little ditty.)

OH MAN. I would have loved to hear about your ET bonding sesh. Sigh... maybe next time.

I LOVE MSEP TOO. Stop hatin' on it everyone who is not Joni and myself!
Side note time: There is a video coming up in my TR that I took of MSEP. (I dunno if you watch those ridiculous videos that I post, but if you DO, be on the lookout hahh.) Anyways, I am basically actin' a fool and yelling at all the characters and when the 'to honor America' float comes by, I keep saying, "She's HAPPY. She's happy TOO." Good Lord, I'm obnoxious. Sorry about this, again... but your pictures of the last float inspired be to ramble again.

"YOU'RE THE INSPIRATION!"

Oh, did I already? I'm sorry.

YAYYY!!!! MMY coming up!!! Oh man I'll probably cry just from viewing pictures of it. PROBLEMS. Thanks for the update yay!!!!

Great installments. That's so funny that you say the Boo To You Parade changed your life. I enjoyed taking my little girl to MNSSHP (she was adorable as Alice), but I was feeling a tad bit ripped off - until I saw the Boo To You parade. I'm not a huge parade lover - but it was one of my favorite things about our October trip. I got really jazzed about the Headless Horseman. I loved it from start to finish. It was worth every dime.

I am a horrible note taker (I'm trying harder I promise) so I know what you mean! I will go to work on a TR and I cannot remember the order of things etc. If I can't go off of my pictures then I am totally lost. This is even worse when it's been a while (I'm guilty of that too) because I can barely remember what I did yesterday let alone several months ago.

I love the MSEP too, and I think we are in the minority, but I don't care! However the Boo to You parade far excedes any other parade in awesomness. Even Jack (who was only 2 and a half at the time) still talks about it now, almost 2 years later!
