Snorkeling @ CC- only if you rent from Disney?

I am guessing you cannot rent only fins? Does anyone know how much the package costs to rent?

Yes you can rent just fins. Or just a mask. (It's Disney, if it's something simple that can obviously be done then they have to do it).
It's been a few months since I was last on selling snorkel equipment so it may have changed...
There is also a reduced rate if you get just fins.
I cannot remember prices (like I said it's been a while, and I didn't do it often, and there's also a chance it could have changed by now anyway...).

and a protected bay - "no" pesky waves

Which is important to remember for when you decide to go REAL snorkeling, lest you think "oh I've done this before".

Because let me tell you, having a panic attack (which can easily turn into an asthma attack for me) 30 seconds after you get into REAL water in Antigua is very much not fun.

Don't be me, folks. Cc lagoon isn't "real" snorkeling. The lack of waves makes it like a swimming pool vs choppy water.

(Props to Arion with the Antigua ecotour for getting me through it. And to my hubby for seeing my distress first)

As for the 3 year old...while you're looking down snorkeling, what is she doing? How are you keeping track of her tube IF that's even allowed?

I would drop her off at Scuttle's Cove while you snorkel. She'll have fun and you will too, with no worries.

I'm gonna guess that there can be a difference depending on the 'cast member' you get and how busy/backed up the desk is .... but agree that normally if a cast member CAN POSSIBLY do it, they will. On our most recent visit to MK we wanted some food just as most food places were closing .... rather than toss the leftovers we got meals with multiple desserts for free ..... not a full choice menu, but the price was GREAT.
