My husband didn’t want to buy resale there! I said it’d be cheaper than more BLT points, but he wanted all our points same resort. Maybe some day.

I’ve stayed cash for CL for AKL for a 5 night trip in the past. I’ve done CL at GF and CR as well. The food is very good and has a lot of variety at AK. It’s a fun space, but it’s a bit dark. I’d highly recommend the CL stay (it’s one of the reasons my family was kinda iffy on buying DVC because it means no more Concierge).

it seems like every is recommending club level. And honestly with this loaded contract i have spare AKL points this year so not sure when we will ever have enough points as my contract is only 140 which would only be 2 nights in a normal year. So if i want to do this in the future i would either need to bank or borrow.

Ask for the mattress cover thingy if you must use the sofa bed (that’s what I plan to do in Oct. when we’ll need to use the one in our GV) & IME the sleeper single bed pull out chair was more comfortable than the sofa bed.
