Can anybody tell me where to look to find the hidden mickeys in the water ? This is going to be my first Disney Cruise and I have seen what Disney Has done to there waters outside of Castaway Cay. I just cant tell if they give you a map or if you have to look for it yourself. Thanks Everyone :D

a map is provided , orf the snorkel area ond u will not have to swim around the whole island on your own with the sharks and the barracudas looking for hidden Mickeys , it is like a trail map
have fun if u dont find it just ask...

The red bouys (sp?) mark areas - Mickey at the Helm is "A", etc.

How Deep do you need to go to find them ?Do you need to go real far out or is it just a few feet under ?

The bottom drops and then comes back up around the sunken items - it's not very deep but it is a healthy distance out.

remember to go early in the day. I have seen this said many times and also from my own experience. We went early and went later in the day. As the day goes on, the sand gets kicked up and the visibility isn't very good. This was on the family beach. I don't know if this happens on the adult beach though.

if you've done any snorkeling in nice water you'll be disappointed by CC (at least the family beach snorkeling area)...
in any case, we were.....we thought it was pretty awful....
but we're used to snorkeling in a coral reef reserve (we just came back from a week there in fact.....snorkeling in the reef and scuba diving with the local dolphins)....
the CC water was not at all the pristine water i was expecting in the carribean.....and since i'm used to seeing much more beautifully exotic fish where we live, the fish at CC were also a disappointment...

but if that's all you have to go by then i suppose you might enjoy it....
