I try every day, many times a day. What is the best way to snag a ADR for LeCellier for Lunch? I am limited to ONLY 11/12. If nothing else, I'll keep trying up to the morning of. :worship:
On the ADR page on Disney web site, is it best to enter a time or does 'lunch' really check all times during the lunch service? :confused3

I've been doing the same and no luck. I was also looking for breakfast at another location that said none available so then I put in a time and a couple of different options came up. I don't know what time frames they call breakfast, lunch and dinner but the time I put in was in the timeframe that breakfast was served even though it didn't come up when I chose breakfast. Good Luck!!

Enter a time and it will check several hours before or after that time. Use a specific time rather than "lunch." Enter a later time if it does not show you options through 3 PM. After 3 PM, it's dinner.

Because you are limited to one day, there are a few things you can do:

Keep checking for an opening that day - check for larger party sizes than yours also. Check every day, including when you arrive at WDW. Check with the resort concierge at your resort if you are staying onsite.

Check the cancellation thread for November to see if anyone is cancelling that day

Try a walk-in, it's probably best to show up when they open. this is NOT guaranteed so you may not want to try it if you will be especially disappointed at being turned down.

Why enter more than 2 guests? Do they save some tables for 4 only? I will definitely try it!

Thanks! I'm going to try all these suggestions. We are staying at the Fort so we can check for availability when we arrive and the morning of, if necessary.

We're doing Food & Wine Festival that day so will definitely get samples from their Kiosk of the cheese soup and mushroom risotto. We just wanted to get in for lunch since they are going to 2TS for lunch next year. I've noticed online that some days there are cancellations the day before so hopefully we'll score before we leave.

I got a Nov lunch ADR by watching the Nov ADR cancellation thread. This really works. I thought I had all me ADRs done but when I saw the Le Cellier lunch cancellation I couldn't resist.

The Disney Reservation system has lots of wonkiness regarding party size. When I travel solo, there are many times that I don't get any results (or I'll get 1 90 minutes after my preferred, entered time). If I switch that from 1 to 2, suddenly a world of slots opens up. It's pretty well known by the CMs and has repeatedly been suggested by them to book for 2 (in this case).

The same issue presents itself with parties of 2 (to a lesser extent) as well as parties of 3 (to an extent between 1 and 2).

It has something to do with how the tables are actually loaded into the system, that sometimes it won't recognize space for a smaller party than a 4-top and it basically says "No, this is for 4, we can't sit 1 or 2 or 3 there, since this is for 4 people". (At least, based on my knowledge of database applications in general and knowing that this issue has persisted for several years, is my best guess and speculation).

Note that even though Le Cellier does have a cc-guarantee, that fee is only assessed if you either cancel on the same day of the reservation or you simply don't show up at all. Parties smaller than the booked number should not be charged any fee at all.

We ate there for lunch last year and while we waiting for our ADR table several couples walked up and were seated before we were. We were a table of 5 so I understand that tables of 2 or 4 were faster to seat.

Thanks for all the info! I was able to get Sci-Fi two tables for 4 each at 5 minutes apart when there were none for party of 7! :woohoo:
