we are going to have DDP so can we use are snack credits for snacking around the world? What are the best snacks that are out there to try? First time of staying onsite and using DDP plus our 2nd visit to DW- so very Newbie and have no clue!

This would be my list...it's based on what I like and not what are the most expensive snacks you get on the DDP (some people use "best" and mean "most expensive").

Norway - Cloudberry Horn
China - Caramel Ginger Ice Cream
Germany - Caramel Corn
US - Rootbeer Float
France - anything from Les Halles, but especially the mousses

You can look through the list of confirmed snacks to see what things sound appealing to you! :)

I suggest checking the pricing lists for all the snacks in Epcot...and there are a lot. For example, you wouldn't want to waste a snack credit on a $2 ice cream cone. But a $4.50 Milk Chocolate Pecan Caramel Cluster from Karamel-Kuche in Germany? Good choice!

On one hand, I wouldn't get something I don't like just because it is more expensive and, therefore, a better use of snack credit. However, if it is $3.50 or less, pay out of pocket if it is something you really want. If it is over $3.50, use the snack credit.
When I did DDP last August, I had my snacks planned weeks in advance.

If you have leftover credits, seriously just go to Germany to the Karamel-Kuche and get what you like and take it home. I returned from my recent trip this Tuesday night and finished my Caramel Chocolate Fudge square yesterday...

I wouldn't even know where to begin... everything is just so darn good in WS...

If "best" means "tastiest," here's my list:
China: Joy of Tea- Curry Chicken Pockets
Norway: Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe - Schoolbread
Mexico: Churros
Germany: Pretzel
France: Les Halles: Parfait Aux Fruites (Yogurt Mousse w/Berries)

My downfall is Fudge! :hyper: Love it! I know I won't be wasting any snack credits for something small but really don't care if it is really expensive either- just would love to try so different things around the world- we will be at EP for 2 full days!

German pavilion, hands down. Pretzels and the carmel shop. I love the milk chocolate salted carmel. Oh my!

Mexico- nachos
Germany- brat and pretzel, anything from karamell kuche. Dark chocolate caramel square, rice krispy treat, chocolate caramel covered fruit.
America- funnel cake
Morocco- shawarma sandwich
France- any crepe, cheese plate from les halles

another vote for cloudberry horn in Norway. napoleon, or any pastry, in france. I pass on morocco but dd loves the variety platter. fish and chips in England. think one of my all time favs was the beaver tails in Canada, wish they would come back. will have to try the fudge someone mentioned!!

I think OP was trying to use snack credits, so a lot of those heartier meals will have to be QS credits.

Now, OP....if you wanna talk best Counter Service meal in World Showcase...:hyper:

Japan - Japanese snow cones. I'm not sure of their exact name, but the melon flavor is awesome.

America - funnel cake

Italy - gelato

Germany - treat from the caramel shop

Morocco - baklava

France - anything from the bakery

Norway - school bread

Canada - maple fudge

Norway--anything from their bakery

Germany--anything from the caramel shop, but especially the sea salt chocolate covered caramels or the oatmeal, apple, caramel cookie (I'd probably pay OOP for them but the chocolate covered, caramel drizzled grapes or pineapple are different and tasty too.)

America--American Dream (red and blue slushie with vanilla ice cream in the middle)

Japan--kaki gori snow cones (love the green melon)

France--anything from their bakery

When are you going to be there? The Epcot Food and Wine Festival begins at the end of September, and there are a lot of snack credit eligible items (some of which are $5-$7).
