cute idea!

don't put cold water in your hot crock pot, it can crack. meat should try to be at room temp before putting it it(Idk, I'm making crap up), get the crock pot liners by Reynolds (very good tip here). It will save and extend your porcelin container's life. :cool2:

*warning- I'm getting near crazy and more goofy.

I put refrigerated (not frozen) meat in mine all the time. Am I not suppose to?

Pretty dress! :)

I kinda am. :thumbsup2

What are your plans for Easter?

Thank you :). I like the idea that people will be able to use the fan, especially since the party will be in the summer, and it will be hot. Instead of receiving something that they will just toss to the side, or into the trash.

Thank you for the tips .:thumbsup2

:scared1: wait, how much was your shipping for the crock pot?!

Thanks, it reminds me of brush strokes.

I like Easter, its super fun for the kids now.

I didn't notice that until now! It does look like a brush just did lots of strokes on it! I love it. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

This year for Easter, my sister-in-law asked me if I wanted to dye eggs with my neice, since last year she wasn't so into doing things, maybe this year she'll enjoy doing some more fun stuff. princess: So, I can't wait to see how that goes! :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting it, I didn't see it  Sounds like a fun trip! :goodvibes

S.C., maybe that's the tip, refrigerated is o.k., not frozen. :wizard:

I had read on one of the threads for crock pots not to use frozen meats. Although some say they do I would be afraid too. Said it might not cook at a safe temp if frozen. :coffee:

I had actually gotten free shipping for the crockpot. With the size, and weight of it, I was afraid that they would charge me an extra large charge on it as well. I had that happen once on a glass serving bowl.

Thank you S.C. for the recipes:thumbsup2 .

Sounds like fun. How old is your neice? My son is 2 1/2, and he really enjoys painting, so I think he will have a blast coloring eggs. We will see how many make it without being cracked. :rotfl2:

S.C., how's your current job status? :3dglasses

Still laid off. They are now working day shift only about 3 weeks out of the month. I have 30 years and didn't get a choice of working, didn't have enough senority. :scared1:

I recieved my retirement papers the other day. I still have to sign them, I'm afraid to retire and afraid not too. I was planning on working for a couple of more years but the economy took care of that decision.

:( its crazy how after 30 years you don't have enough seniority.

Did your DH hear anymore about the job after the interview. :listen:
he'll get a letter or a call for a second interview in about two weeks. He thinks he'll get the letter b/c she kind of had a disappointed look when he said his amount. But our associate pastor was a chemical engineer before going into ministry... any way, he said he was once offered to be a nuclear power engineer, but was offered 2/3 his current salary. He said, power company's are like that. So, my hopes for this job isn't very high :(. I'm really looking forward to a long vacation and see family again no matter how much they annoy me by the end of the trip. It will be good to see them. :cutie:
