Not to be pessimistic, but I figured it was just a matter of time before more people experienced this.It's luck of the draw whether you see something bad or not. I saw a lot of obscene things in VMK using dictionary dancing, but I can say I just saw the most disgusting and vile chat I've ever seen in a game a little while ago. This was in a public room. Certain words shouldn't be allowed no matter what, I feel. If I see anything like that again, I doubt I'll be logging back in. Way too offensive to me. And that's a shame because I enjoy the game.
And yes, sure I can block those people's chat. But I don't want to see it in the first place.
My question is: What is the purpose of the report button? I don't recall seeing anything in the FAQs or help section about it. Has anyone reported someone for offensive/obscene chat?
I guess I assumed that since this game was aimed at adults, our only recourse was to block individual players, but according to the Terms of Service, certain types of posted content/behavior are considered a violation:
