Non-Disney Online Games SmallWorld - New build is online!

FUN! So.. is he "Days.i's dude"? :rotfl: Or... "Monkey's pop"? AHHH, someone stop me!

Hahahaha he wanted nothing to do with "Daze!!" I might have to watch him ROFL.:rotfl2:

I'm still very impressed with the SW staff.

Oh me too! I've met just a few so far, and they're all very friendly and helpful.

my computer had a coronary and is not currently able to start Windows.

*Send pixie dust to Dreams' computer...and a few cookies (couldn't hurt)* :goodvibes

Oh my gosh...dh just signed on without us asking him to. And he's playing a game of pool! *falls over*

Heh, on another note. While I was watching my DH play a practice game of pool, some guy just told me I was good looking and asked for my email, in Portuguese... After I translated and replied to him, DH says to me, "I didn't know you knew Portuguese, heh." :rotfl2:

Not sure if I should post this here or start a new topic, but I just set up a Crazy Ape tournament on my other me (Papasito Loco) as an experiment to see how it works out. The 600 tokens should go to the top 3 if that has been fixed yet and it will run for the next week. Feel free to play it in his or my room or set it up on your arcade game!
:hippie: Mamacita

Im also in shock that my dad started playing....

"I didnt know you spoke a foreign language." LOL :cutie:

Just reporting that the tournament does work as we thought it would. The 600 token prize was taken out of Papasito's pocket as soon as I set it up, and the entry fees are being added as people join, he's up to 90 tokens now hehe

oh wow, so it could end up profitable @_@

Yeah, it seems if you can attract enough people to play, you could make money this way (hint hint everybody come play *giggle*)
:hippie: Mamacita

If we set up our machines to be in your tournament, Papacita would still get the entry fee from people that play, right? (I don't want to hook up to the tournament if the room owner gets the tokens.)

Right, all the entry fees go to the owner of the tournament, but it would be cool if you could get a portion for setting it up since you would be promoting the tournament, maybe we should suggest that, maybe a percentage of the entry fees that were paid on your machine? :D

I think since the winnings are coming out of your pocket, that you should get all the entry fees at least until you've managed to break even. Then maybe a percentage could go to the machine's owner.

(Thought I might enter this tourney today - after all, I did make 209,000 the last time I played. Then I took a look at the top scores, and Slinkyman has 300 gazillion points, so I'm going to crawl back under my rock now. lol)

I forgot to mention this when I happened upon it a while back...

I know what a pain it is to try and reply to someone's message on SW, because when you click reply their name disappears from the box. Well, I found that if you click reply, then click back to your inbox, then click reply again, their name will be there. No more searching for their name to reply to someone's mail.

This is good to know; thanks.

Clicking more than once appears to solve other game bugs as well, such as doors that don't show the destination they've been set for, or objects that seem to be missing their configuration menu.

Reporting in on the tournament, Papa has 290 tokens now so it may not end up making money, I think the high scores are scaring people off. Might have the prize set too low, 2nd and 3rd places don't award very much.

Yes, that is the problem -or the good thing, depending on how you look at it- with the tournaments showing the top score before you enter. You can see that the top ppl are way (or in this case way way way) above what score you can usually make, and you know there is no reason to throw your credits away to join. Though I was pretty proud of myself for hitting 5th place, even if briefly (haven't looked lately), as I was not even sure I would be able to ever pass that mission just a few days before!

The scores really aren't that high. Once you get in a rhythm, it's probably not too difficult to score a million or more points on the game. The difficult part is having enough time to do it, since there's no pause button. It's a very time consuming game.

ROFL...I truly don't know what possessed him to join -- this is so not like him. Monkey and I have tried to get him to join virtual games for years now, with no luck. But last night he just walked over to my screen, and said..."Let's see your house." I was like, "uhhhhhh, ok!" I say, that if SW could attract my dh into playing, they have a good thing going. :thumbsup2

So funny, my husband has started to take an interest as well. Still hasnt joined but I think he might be getting closer. He is helping me design my house, and plays the games for me. He never took any interest in VMK at all.
