Small World Vacations?

If you've booked your existing reservation directly with Disney, the can take over the booking with your permission. They cannot take over booking made through another travel agency.
 
Confirm what FanofTink said with Small World Vacations and see what they can do for you. I'd hate to have you cancel your WL reservation and then not be able to rebook the woodsview room or any room at WL. Be aware too that just because discounts might come out, your Small World TA might not be able to get one for you. Mine was able to get an AP discount for me twice but not on this most recent release of room only codes. Of course that won't stop me from using her. She's been great to deal with!
 
FanofTink or anyone else...on the SmallWorld website it says that if you have a WDW vacation ressie with a paid deposit they cannot serve you because it would result in a duplicate ressie for you since they make a courtesy hold for you when they give you a quote. I have paid my deposit to CRO for my room only ressie. Is there a 1-800 # for Small World? I want to be definate before I release my ressie. Thanks!

Just clarify in your email that you have an existing reservation with CRO and you're looking into the possibility of SMW taking over the booking. That way, a new reservation won't be made on your behalf.....

You can transfer your reservation to them so you don't have to cancel anything. Only if you booked it yourself and not through another travel agency. Their main office 800# is 888-704-4560. I think that is still the number. A few years ago when I first started using them I had a lot of questions and that is how I got in touch with the owner
 
If anyone is looking for a travel agency that specializes in Disney vacations of all kinds (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, etc.), don't forget that there is a travel company that is associated with this website. It is called Dreams Unlimited Travel. I've been using them for years and have always been pleased with their work. In the past I've also transferred my CRO reservations over to them since I got the bulk of my vacation info from the DIS website. It made sense to me that Dreams Unlimited Travel should handle all my vacation planning needs. Now I don't bother with CRO, I book directly with Dreams.

I also use Small World Travel and have been very happy with them. I do know that I started using them after reading about Sue in Mousesavers. My hubby agreed to a GF stay if I could find a great rate. I searched and searched, finally I decided to give them a try and WOW ~ I don't know how they did it, but I loved the rate.

I didn't know however, that they helped with dining reservations. Which agent do you use that does that? :wave:
 
I am using Josephine @ Small World for our upcoming December trip and despite the fact I'm in Australia everything has been going smoothly. I get replies to any emails I send within 15mins.of her hitting her desk in the mornings (I believe we are 14 hours ahead). She booked all our ADR's, including a couple of changes when the Dec. hours came out, MVMCP, CP package, Fantasmic package and got all the places I wanted and times. We are booked to stay at WL with an AAA discount and are very happy with that.

She has been very obliging and has given me lots of tips and advice.

I'm using Stephanie. She is based out of MA. She even sent me a dining spreadsheet to use.
 
my family went to disney world parks in may of this year and we used small world vacations to help us. we had never been out of our home state before and there is way too much information on disney world for us too manage. my agents name was niki and she helped me so much that i invited my entire family and made it a reuinion. we all stayed at pop century and she also did the dining plan for us. we had reservations at some really good places with cars for tables and things like that. it was a trip of a lifetime for us and when we save up again im calling her because our trip was so perfect.
 
I have used them and they were GREAT! I have since handled my own details only because I have the time and energy (not to mention a disney addict for an inlaw) They weren't any cheaper but they certainly didn't cost me anymore. Good Luck!
 
I used them for our trip in September- it was great! She (Missy) took care of everything for us! It was the best trip ever!!! We are using her again for our 'Girls only' Trip in December. She has been very patient with us (changing our plans/package several times) and answering the hundred's of questions we have had over the past several weeks. :earsgirl:
They are awesome- I would definitely recommend them!! :cheer2:
 
I used them last year for our first trip in 12 years and thought they were great and very friendly. This year after doing so much research I thought it was easier to do it myself. I am as knowledgable if not more than they are and although they are responsive I can be much more responsive myself. Plus, I know more about what works best for me. When the discounts came out last month, I called CRO several times and tried different scenarios until I got exactly what worked best for me. In fact, after looking back at our trip last year there are some things I would have done differently if I had the knowledge I have today, and now question some of the things my agent told me. So, they are great if you are unfamiliar with WDW. They can be flashlight in a dark room. Just don't expect a flood light.
 
I agree and disagree with the previous poster. You certainly can get the same discounts that Small World can get you. That is if you have the time and energy needed to keep up with discounts and codes. To me it is much easier to let Small World take care of everything for our trips. It can take a LOT of time and calls to Disney to accomplish what Small World can do. Even something simple like making dining reservations can become quite a pain if you are on hold or get a CM who is either not friendly or knowlegeable.
Bottom line to me is that Small World can do it very efficiently and it saves me the hassle that I don't really need. Josephine has taken real good care of us for two years now. She and Small World will continue to get our business. Great people and wonderful service. Can't beat the fact that it's free.
 
I emailed my agent (Denise) and asked about the Dining thing and right away she emailed back and said if I needed her help she was there :-). Speaking as someone who gets calls from my friends if they plan a Disney trip because we are there every year ~ if I don't use my points I call Small World. As someone said, I might be able to get the codes and such if I did it myself, although my experience has been that they did better than me, I don't have the time. I'd rather spend it here posting (JK). Everyone who I've recommended use them has had great success so I'll keep recommending them. That and Sue is an Amazing Race buff like me :-).
 
We have used Marion with Small Word and LOVED LOVED LOVED her. The last 2 years she has managed to pull off some pretty magical little bits of pixie dust for us for our trips and has become like one of our family. She even responded to emergency emails after hours and when found out I was ill right before our trip was a god send getting things changed and alerting Disney that Id be using wheels.

I cant think of doing Disney without Small World now.
 
I have also used josephine for my last 2 trips to the world and i cant say enough wonderful things about her. though our last trip she didnt need to do much for us, she was as helpful and prompt in her replies as she was when she was extensively involved in my planning during out previous trip. will use her again for all of my vacation needs
 
Never used them but I am sure that they on par with the other on-line Disney Travel specialists. However, I am fascinated with the high volume of relatively new posters on this thread. I am sure that it is just a coincidence and that a company would not intentionally misrepresent itself by posting false endorsements. But I think that everyone just needs to keep that in mind when making a determination who they should go with. That said, there are also some veterans who have also made postitive statements so it is likely as I have said, just a coincidence.

Sorry. This just struck me as odd.
