Small Storage areas on Alien Swirling Saucers

I've been on this attraction several times, but yesterday was the first I noticed the small storage areas. They don't fit much. But my umbrella and water bottle fit perfectly!

Huh. Didn’t notice that either but we had a bag so didn’t need it.

Never noticed them either, but my backpack wouldn't fit in them.
A nice touch though.
