Right now my wife and I have 17 month old triplets. What we are looking for are some suggestions on traveling with small children. We were thinking on going sometime in January, but we are more likely to travel in the fall of next year. (Even though we would really like to go earlier. Boy, do we need a break!) Any suggestions or thoughts on traveling with such small children would be greatly appreciated. We are flying from the NY/NJ area and are going to stay at the BWV's. Any thoughts at all would be helpfull. Thanks!

Bring an extra pair of hands (eyes) with you. An aunt or grandma to help out.

We took my oldest son at about 18 months and my husband SWORE he would never take another child who wasn't old enough to stand on his/her own two feet to WDW. The lines were tough with DS not really wanting to be held but not able to go on his own either.

I would definitely try for a lineless time of year. And the extra pair of hands sounds like a wonderful idea as well, even if you have to hire a teenage niece, nephew or neighbor to come along.

Of course, anyone who can survive triplets for 17 months could probably give me a lot of parenting advice. I raised my four the easy way, one at a time. You have my admiration.

I second the advice on taking a third adult; that way you're not outnumbered!

I would DEFINATELY go during off-season. It's hard enough standing in long lines with one toddler -- you'll have 3!!! Most people report being able to "walk right on" to rides when it is a slow time (weekdays, not around anytype of holiday weekends!)

PLEASE!!!! Put ID on there person. Make sure your cell # is on the ID.

I just found a little girl about 18 months-24 months in a gift shop @ Epcot.

If you are flying and have to transfer planes, call the airport ahead of time and arrange to have someone meet you at the gate to drive you all to the next gate. If you are coming in the fall, be sure you pick a date at the end of hurricane season. If next year is anything like this year's hurricane season, you don't want to be pent up in the room with young children for a prolonged period of time. If you were to come in January at a time not close to New Years or MLK day, you will have low crowds and be able to experience alot more attractions in alot less time. Use fast passes where possible! Have ID on the kids for sure! Everytime I'm nursing in one of the baby care centers, there are lost kids there.

I don't know how crowded it will be in January, but I agree that you should go when it is less crowded. We went in August when my youngest was that age and not only was it super crowded but the heat made her miserable!

I can't imagine that you aren't experts on handling your three kids. Don't sweat it. Just plan it like you plan anything else, like a trip to the mall.
