Ok folks….its Taco Tuesday, so let’s talk tacos
For those of us that likes tacos, I think it’s safe to say that many of us like different types of tacos - it depends on our mood, where we are at and etc. But, I think if we all dig deep into our taco soul, we all have a favorite. So let’s give our honest taco answer today and tell us…..

Which type of taco is your absolute favorite?

For Me……I am one person that enjoys all types of tacos, except veggie tacos - vegetables are not my friend with my UC. When I’m in Florida I love shrimp or fish tacos, when I want a quick meal I love making chicken taco meat in the crock pot so it’s ready when we get home, but my most absolute favorite tacos are beef tacos in a hard shell. I only like hard shell tacos with beef filling, never chicken or seafood. We don’t have tacos planned for dinner tonight, but I’m starting to wish we were - LOL!

SHRIMP Tacos by far and wide my absolute favorite I will make them at home absolutely love them

Pork would probably be my second choice maybe veggie but I am no snob when it comes to tacos I will eat just about any kind of taco absolutely love tacos I prefer soft shell but I’ll eat a hardshell taco

Hard she'll beef probably. If it's a Mexican restaurant, it's usually soft shell. Those are good also. I like soft shell fish once in a while.

It's hard to answer this because the best tacos are fried corn tortillias, but they are still kind of soft. Almost anything can make a good filling, though receenly I've been loving the birria style beef!

Pork, soft. Although I like beef & chicken, too. I'm not much for veggie tacos, I'd eat shrimp or fish tacos but not my first choice.

I'm an equal-opportunity taco lover, but I prefer soft flour tortillas (as opposed to hard corn or soft corn tortillas). Given a choice, I guess chicken. I've made fish and shimp tacos, but more of a street taco with an onion/cilantro relish (or just a mango salsa).

To be fair, American tacos are not authentic tacos, at all.

For me, shrimp or fish on soft (with a lime avocado cream and slaw, pickled onions). Least favorite is ground beef with envelope seasonings.

I have no favorite, I dislike all Mexican food about equally. I will eat it if it’s served to me but I would never seek it out and rarely ever make it.

My favorite is beef with hard shell - but only if I make it, never out - I detest greasy beef.
Next favorite are fish tacos - made just right - with good salsa and drizzle of dressing, yum!!

I said beef soft but I should note that I am not talking about basic ground beef taco meat. I want steak tacos or fajita beef!

They also need to be soft. Hard tacos are just a mess and never worth the effort to me. They were one of those norms growing up in the northeast but I've lived in Texas for nearly 3 decades and it's rare for me to see anyone eating hard shell tacos here. Yea, they're sold in stores and on menus but even popular taco chains like Torchy's and local faves that specialize in street tacos are all about soft tacos.

If I'm only to choose one type of taco, it would be a Birria taco (soft shell). I prefer soft shell tortilla to hard shell, just because hard shell tend to fall apart on me. There's a taco place by us that also offers a "stoner style" shell - which is a hard shell inside of a soft shell, held together with a "glue" of queso.

Fish tacos are my absolute favorite. They can come with either soft or hard shells. Usually, the hard shells hold the ingredients better than soft. But I think they most often come with soft shells.

Fish or shrimp would be my first pick followed by black bean then chicken. I like both hard and soft shells. I do prefer hard with black bean to give it texture.

My favorite would be beef (carne asada or shredded) with soft corn tortillas.

I like authentic Mexican street tacos. Al pastor, carne asada or carnitas. Small, soft corn tortillas with simple toppings. Onions, cilantro, lime squeeze and green or red salsa.

Funny you should ask, we have a wonderful Mexican restaurant here in town and we plan to go there tonight for Taco Tuesday. For me, I only like hard shell ground beef tacos. DH likes corn soft shell, beef or chicken.
