We freeze our crab meat in milk, then when we defrost it we drain & give it a quick rinse. Works great!Try thawing your frozen fish in milk in the fridge, discarding the milk after the fish is thawed. It takes away much of the "I was frozen" taste.
There should NOT be bones in fish sticks.I don’t like seafood, so I don’t like fish sticks. I tried them once as a kid and gagged on the bones. Disgusting things . . .![]()
There were so many bones it was like eating a hairbrush. I won’t ever forget it. I also remember kids finding bones in the fish sandwiches at school (I packed a lunch). They would shred the piece of fish to get all the bones out and then put the shredded fish back on the bun to eat it.There should NOT be bones in fish sticks.
There are NO bones in any fish sticks - not sure what you ate - We were served fish sticks back in the day most Fridays in school lunch as we lived in an area with lots of Catholics that didn't eat meat on Fridays - loved them. Salmon in the can has bones, but they are pressure cooked and edible.I don’t like seafood, so I don’t like fish sticks. I tried them once as a kid and gagged on the bones. Disgusting things . . .![]()
