When you‘re grilling out, and it’s time to decide if you want cheese on your burger, do you have the cheese or no?

For me......sometimes
It depends on what I’m doing with my burger - if I have mushrooms then I’ll have some Swiss cheese to go with it. If I have no mushrooms, then I will not have cheese. If someone makes me an average cheeseburger I will eat it even though it’s not my preference.

I’ll add cheese sometimes. This would depend if I remembered to buy the cheese. Usually I don’t have the cheese in the house. If I’m at someone else’s house who is grilling and there are both choices I’ll go with the cheese. Same for eating out I’ll always get the cheeseburger.

Depends on whether I “feel like” having cheese. Most of the time I could take or leave cheese on a hamburger. On those days I skip it (save the calories), but sometimes it sounds really good so I’ll have cheese. Pickles, on the other hand, are non-negotiable.

Had to put other as it isn't always, but it is predominately most of the time.

97% of the time I am putting cheese on it.

3% of the time I will attempt to make a Lansing, MI staple, the Olive Burger. I keep trying, but I haven't nailed the olive sauce yet. So, I typically wait to enjoy the real thing when I go back to Michigan.

We never, ever cook hamburgers on the grill (we call it a BBQ here). We barely eat ground meat in general and none of us are crazy about hamburgers; we only eat them occasionally from fast-food places. That said, when we do, what would be the point without cheese? :confused3

If ordering out. Always cheese.

If I’m making it, mostly without. I started making a feta and garlic burger. Eventually cut feta out and still use just garlic powder, McCormick’s hamburger seasoning, and Worcestershire.

Toppings if I feel like. But usually just ketchup and agree with always a pickle.

Yeah I am the same... if it's a "special" burger I will add some type of cheese but typically a regular, nice rare hamburger is great with lot of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles on it.

I voted other. I rarely ever want a hamburger. Occasionally get a craving for a Big Mac. A home grilled burger, hardly ever. But if I do eat one I usually make it an olive burger with loads of sliced green olives mixed with a bit of mayo. No cheese. Or I will eat it with steak sauce and grilled onions.

Other....cheeseburger most of the time. If no cheese available (rarely), then just the hamburger.

To be honest, I can't remember the last time we grilled or cooked a raw hamburger at home. Most likely we get a hamburger out. We have a couple really good hamburger places close by. We do keep a package of Schwans Frozen Fully Cooked Hamburger patties in the freezer, 90 seconds in the microwave and they are ready.
As for cheese, I'm guessing over half the time with cheese, but really doesn't matter. The hamburger places here use really flavorful beef, and just the beef taste is enough. And I do admit a liking to the flavor of Burger Kings flame broiled burgers.
