Yes, always in books. Cannot do it in a car as I will instantly get carsick.
When it first came out, I got addicted and would spend every free moment working on it. Thankfully that eased but I did still work on them for 20 minutes or so every single night before bed. That was a nice habit, but it changed a few years ago when I switched bedrooms (weird light placement) and I started surfing the 'net before bed, instead. I should get back to Sudoku.
I do the hard ones, so it takes enough concentration and effort to block out daily anxieties, things that are bothering me, etc.
