I've seen the first one, but only bits and pieces of the others, and not the series.

None are on my "must watch every year" list. (Those are Home Alone - with DS, It's a Wonderful Life - with DH, an episode of The Waltons called "The Children's Carol" and of course a bunch of Hallmark movies! )

I tend to watch Miracle on 34th Street on Thanksgiving, and we usually at least put A Christmas Story on in the background at some point during the TBS marathon.

I like them but I don’t really care if I see them or not. If they happen to come on tv and there’s nothing else on then I might watch it.

I watched the first movie once, but it just wasn’t my thing, so I haven’t watched the sequels. I am more of A Christmas Carol kind of person when it comes to must see holiday movies.

I'm not a huge fan of Tim Allen, but the first one was ok. If it's on tv, I'll keep it on but other holiday films like Krampas and Silent Night Deadly Night hold greater priority.

I put on Christmas movies that I've seen before while baking. So if I miss a bit here and there , doesn't matter. Sitting dipping pretzels, rolling cookies in powder sugar, those type of jobs.

As since people are mentioning other shows. Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol.

Saw the first one, it was fine. Haven't seen any of the rest of it, it has probably been on when the grandkids were here at some point. I usually watch the Disney Christmas movies each year.

I've seen all of them, but they're not on my "must watch annually" list. Agree that Christmas with the Kranks is a great Tim Allen movie.

For Me……I love the original The Santa Clause movie, I like the other 2 movies and I’m not liking the series. It is an absolute MUST for me to watch Ths Santa Clause every year - it’s my second favorite Christmas movie. The other 2 movies I put on while I bake (we have a tv in the kitchen) - these movies are movies I like to watch, but don’t necessarily need to sit down and pay attention to them. The series is going to be a one and done - we don’t like it. As long as they make them, we’ll watch them, but we’ll never rewatch them. We watched The Santa Clause on Saturday night, and I watched the other 2 movies yesterday as I made my Christmas whiskey balls and chocolate covered amaretto balls

Oops, forgot to answer. I love Tim Allen and have watched all of the movies. I don't get the series as we don't have that subscription. Only the original The Santa Claus is one I will watch every year. Two was so-so and three was a dud imho.

The original is one I'll watch each year. #2 is ok, but I can take it or leave it. #3 is horrible.

I don't have Disney+, so I haven't seen the series.

I've seen the movies, but not the series, just not interested. If one of the movies is on in the background when I'm downstairs doing something or other I'll watch it casually. They're okay, not my favorites.

Charlie Brown Christmas and the Rankin/Bass programs are must-watch.

Plus, it's not Christmas until Hans Gruber falls from Nakatomi Plaza.

I’ve never seen the Santa Clause movies. I have seen parts of the first one, but can’t remember all of the storyline or details Maybe I’ll give it a try this year. Looks cute , but just sorta missed them . Kids and DH don’t ever have them on either .

I thoroughly enjoyed the original Santa Clause! It was fresh and the child actor Charlie was precious. He did a fantastic job. I honestly don't remember much about the sequels other than I'm pretty sure I saw the second one. Was that where Tim Allen's character marries Charlie's principal or teacher? I'm not into villains or big productions from conflict. I choose no drama always. I think this one had some of that but not like (possibly) some of the later sequels where cartoon-y characters had to be won over or something. I hope this makes some sense!

First one was OK, second one was OK, Santa Clause 3 was CREEPY! It fall in the category of "so bad it's good" for me. If I want to have a laugh at a just plain bad movie, Santa Clause 3 is it.

The first movie was okay. It was different.

But it was Elizabeth Mitchell's performance in the second movie that elevated and saved the now-franchise. Tim Allen is good with an ensemble cast. He is not a "leading man" type of actor.

We watch The Santa Clause every year on Christmas Eve. Have done so since my children were tiny. They are 28 and 30 now, so not sure how much everyone loves it, but they don't complain. They know it's important to me, so everyone sits down to watch with a smile LOL.

We watched Krampus for the 2023 season last night. It's become part of our must-watch rotation over the holidays.

I've seen the first, and the second Santa Clause but I don't think I've seen the 3rd. They were good movies, and I suppose like others have mentioned up thread that I would probably put it on as a background movie while cooking or doing whatever, but I would probably not choose to sit down and watch it unless I really had nothing else to watch! I haven't seen the series either.

Now we are WAY behind on our Christmas Carol viewing, so far we've seen Muppets, but not the Capt. Picard one, the older one (from the early 50's I think?) and one that just came out a few years ago (FX's A Christmas Carol) that is a bit darker.
