I love pie a la mode, but hate apple pie (I don’t like apples). I usually eat cherry or berry pie for fruit pies.

I'd say I love it, however, can't recall when I last had it. I think msybe 10 years or more. As a kid, we had pie pretty often after dinner. As an adult, rarely. I do wind up having a slice or two of Costco pumpkin pie when in season (soon) but no ice cream with that type of pie, only fruit pies.

I like pie. I like ice cream. But never have them at the same time. I also never have cake and ice cream together either, unless it’s an ice cream cake and haven’t had one of those in 15-20 years.

How about an ice cream pie with fruit topping? You could even add a layer of baked pie crust between the ice cream and the fruit.
You get the same taste, but with the added pleasure of subverted expectations!

I’m weird I can’t stand that at all
With that being said -
I have on several occasion put cheddar cheese on my apple pie - delicious !!! When I first heard this I thought - ooh no - but oh it is delicious !!
But most of the time my favorite pie which is Apple is often ate alone with glass of milk

Yes to ice cream even though I can eat pie without it.

Cake we usually only have ice cream with it at birthday parties .

We don’t have ice cream in the freezer to often. Prefer to go out for ice cream…lol

Today will be the first time I’ve had ice cream at the house since Mother’s Day when I bought it to have with pie. I love ice cream, but my waistline doesn’t love ice cream, so my philosophy is - I can’t eat it if I don’t have it in the house. But going out for ice cream is ok, because it’s a one and done until the next time

I don't like this poll because now I must make or buy an apple pie.

How about...
A crispy/gooey grilled cheese sandwich with cinnamon apples on top? Maybe with an added pinch of powdered sugar, like with French toast.

I never liked apple pie... but then I tried it warm, with a scoop of either fudge ripple or chocolate ice cream, and a drizzle of caramel sauce! Heaven!
