JoieNSK, I do not think you will regret or be disappointed with your trip as you have thought it out and really know what is important to you for your vacation. You want to go at Christmas (which will be special and festive) and you want to do so in a suite so that you can be with those you are going with. And you are on a
Disney cruise. With loved ones. Sounds amazing and it hasn't even started
We have always enjoyed staying in the concierge suites, not as much for the concierge perks, but for the spaciousness of the rooms. Really, they are ridiculously large compared to all of the other staterooms on the ship, except for the 2 bedroom and the royals. (Last cruise my 7 yo called out "Dad, where is mom?!" in the stateroom. (I was just in the other room!) The suites are large enough to lose a family member!) We feel that that spaciousness really allows us to focus on the enjoyment of just being together. Yes, we like to see princesses, and walk the promenade deck, and I love any meal that someone else is making for me, but I really love being with those I love. There is a lot of entertainment on the boat that can keep you going all day and into the night, but I feel that a real perk of the suites is that the space is so abundant and the layout is conducive to hanging out , it can become a destination in and of itself. I don't think all of the space is needed to enjoy a cruise, and yet every time we stay in a suite, I can see how the extra suite space facilitated great moments and great memories with each other.
I agree. There is a lot of places and things on which one can spend money, but investing in family time and traveling really pays back wonderfully!!!
Oh, and you are going to love the "triple wide" verandah. Love. Love. Love.
