Sleeping 5 at HRH

Hi all. I haven't been here for awhile but have got "the fever" again and want to plan our second trip to UO! We stayed at PBH last March and really loved it. Because I like to try new things, I was thinking of trying HRH the next time. We have a family of 5 and really liked the Deluxe room with Club access at PBH! I understand that it is mostly standard size rooms on the club floor at HRH but that there are a "few" deluxe rooms avail that you can request? If we aren't lucky this way, is it very unpleasant to crowd 5 into the regular sized rooms? We will have a teen, a preteen and a child. Any thoughts from those who have been there/done that? Thanks a bunch!

Deluxe is the way to go. I would forfeit the club in order to guarantee a deluxe.

We treated my adult nieces, their boyfriends and our DS 15 to HRH Club Level on July 16 (5 in the room). I requested a deluxe club room but they did not receive it. DS slept on an air mattress. I asked them if they would have preferred Club or the deluxe room and they all said the club level. They did not feel too crowded. Keep in mind, this was a group kids with the ages of 25, 24, 22, 21 and 15. They can probably tolerate more than DH and I could. That said, we sleep five in RPR club level and those rooms are smaller than HRH. It gets a little crowded but we enjoy the club amenities and services. I think having access to the club room makes things seem less crowded. We get ready in shifts and some of the group head to the club lounge for breakast, water, snacks, the computer or to watch TV while the rest of us are getting ready. Good luck with your decision!

Edited to add that you get into the fitness club for free with club level which also has a set of showers. DH often utilizes the fitness club shower after working out which is one less person using the room shower.
