Skyauction Question...can you check in a few days late?

Hi All...I have a question about the resort weeks bid/won through Skyauction. We're planning to go for about 10 days...if I am able to get back to back weeks, can I check into a resort mid-week? I realize I would technically be paying more for fewer days, but is this possible? Has anyone done this successfully? I have heard of some who have left early, but I was interested in a late check in date. Thank you!!

you can - but you must call the resort tell them you are checkin late. be sure to state how late.

I might put in a letter and send it to them - just in case. send a copy of your RCI confirmation.

if you don't they have the right to declare you a 'no show' and rerent the reservation.

You can definitely check in late. We've done it a couple times. Just call ahead. Nice thing is that you can then check in anytime...not have to wait until 4pm or whatever.
