I remember we used to have a game called snowball, where guys were on one side...girls on the other...and it'd start with one couple round the rink once...they'd split and pick another opposite sex...etc... you NEVER wanted to be picked last..and you ALWAYS had you're eye on the person you hoped would pick you!!

What about wheelbarrow races?

The one main song that brings me back to the roller rink is "Rock Lobster" by the B-52's! They played it every time!

First one that comes to mind is "Sha Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye" (not sure if that is the official title or not ). That was the one they played frequently during All Skate, Hall and Oates "Sara Smile" reminds me of Couples skate.

Ok, showing my age--this was the early/mid 70's:

Lito Shuffle by Leo Sayer (I don't even like this song but whenever I hear it, it reminds me of the skating rink!)

To drive the point further, my friends and I valeted at GF about two years back, and we had a cheesy custom-made cd in. When the guy pulled back up with my car, he had it cranked to "Look Out Weekend" and got out of the car, doing a "skating dance" singing "Yeah skating rink!"
