Hi,

I rec'd my pin code today!!!!! I called to aske the price difference from CSR to WL. My DH loves the look of WL so I thought maybe we could upgrade! I chatted a bit then asked if I had a pin attached to my name. Waited,,, he then said I see something here! He asked if I had rec'd an email or post card? No, I replied. He said you have a code. He then priced the same deal we have booked at CSR for WL and for an extra $100., we can upgrade! So, I did! WOW!!! I am still excited! My family does not understand! LOL! I am happy! All I can say is keep trying it does work!!!!

I will be reading to follow up! I hope I don't get "kicked" out of the pity party!! LOL!!!

I'm not sure if I should be posting here as I'm a lurker on this post AND I got a pin we could use (although this could be argued as the promotion became available to all) for FD this Christmas. When I first called in CM was amazed, had never seen FD before over Christmas, but when I checked the boards seemed they had blitzed Canadians. This is the one and only pin code I have EVER received. I originally thought it was because we had had such a horrible experience with purchasing DVC (another story another day), and had sworn to never return to WDW again. Anyway, enough rambling, it happens - just believe

I got a PIN. A couple of notes from my efforts: I played around and saved different trips (i.e. mostly saved deluxe, and then went in and saved a moderate; mostly saved 7 night trips and then saved one shortening my length of stay). Even though I had a good idea exactly what I wanted, I browsed and saved as if price was a big determining factor (which it would have been without a PIN). Strangely enough, my email PIN from Disney Destinations referred to a resort that wasn't in my saved queue at the time (BCV), but I had looked at it and saved it in the past... So, if you haven't already, maybe try saving different levels of trips. Not sure if that's what worked, but it might be worth a try. Good luck!

Followed all the tips from everyone to get a pin code. Did not get one. Now airfare is too high for the time we wanted to go so...................WDW in 2011, not 2010, Oh, well.....

I am still saving a deleting trips everyday. I still NEVER get the exit survey that you guys keep talking about. I don't believe there is an exit survey. I think you guys have been pulling my leg all along!

I did get a live CM only one time, but never, ever do I get the exit survey.

I was not gettting the exit survey either, then I allowed pop ups and now I get it every time. Try clicking the back arrow or clicking on the Disney world logo in the upper left of the page. Make sure pop-ups are allowed. Once you figure out how to get it, you will ALWAYS get it! Unfortunately, it hasn't made one bit of difference for me.

I have done everything, including clearing cookies, my husband put a cookie eater on my computer! I have saved and deleted trips, called Disney, chatted w/the CM's online . . . done it all and nothing!!!

I'm not giving up. We have airline tickets but would love to upgrade. I am convinced that Disney knows we are coming. We go down every April . . . I feel like they have our number . . . . and I guess they do!!!

So now I shall sit on the pin-less pity pot w/all of you and wait . . . .

^^^ Hang in there! Don't give up hope! Some of us had to endure that routine for over 2.5 weeks! Some people reported doing this only once and getting it. Not us! We had to do it for quite a while before we got sprinkled with pixie dust! Here's some for you...

^^^ Amy1007, if you aren't getting the exit survey there is something wrong. Are you 100% certain your pop up blocker is disabled and thereby allowing pop ups? If that is the case, do try a different computer.

I've been going through this routine for aover a month . . . one of the first trips I saved expired the 23rd of November! I have saved and deleted so many trips but I do remember seeing that date. I have been deleting cookies for over a week so we'll see if that makes a difference. If not, I am at a loss! Trying not to give up but not much to keep me going at this point! Pity, pity, pity . . .

I did my ritual again today and got both of the pop-ups. I do have better things to do with my time rather than playing this game. If it pays off I won't complain. If it doesn't, oops.

amy1007 - You said you are a teacher, too. I did book the Dolphin for summer for $149 a night using the teacher discount. Did you know about that?

Ok, I haven't read the whole thread, so I'm not sure what you have tried, but I've gotten 8 pins in the last month (please don't kill me! I'm sorry!) and here's what I did...

I did NOT do the exit survey, so I don't think it matters. I did save trips for the time I wanted, I used 3 different emails. I did not clear my cookies. What I did notice though is that I always get a pin when I have NOT gone to the site and logged in for a few days to a week or so. Maybe you are logging in too often? Maybe when you haven't logged in, it sends you a pin to try and get you to come back?

I have no idea, but I feel so bad and if the pins weren't connected to my name, I would give you mine in a second. I booked with the 20%, but most likely won't even use it b/c we will probably use free dining if it is offered.

I hope you get one, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to watch everyone else get it!

Sorry to be OT, but I noticed the name of your TR and was wondering if you saw the button they have in Disney? I bought it and use it frequently in my office.

I DID see it! In fact, I almost bought it to wear with my costume(I was the queen for MNSSHP), but couldn't figure out how to hang it on my neck! I wish I would have bought it, I could keep it on my desk...I was in full WDW mode though and it didn't even cross my mind to do that!

Apparently this tip will only work once you've been to WDW, but every time I'm approached at one of the parks and asked to take the survey, I do. It takes about 10 minutes, but last time we were there I took it twice. When I got home I got two follow-up emails asking me to elaborate further. Took about 15 minutes to go through the surveys. After that I got multiple pin codes, both for WDW and the cruise line.

We did 2 surveys while at WDW this past Oct. and still no pin codes for us. I guess I need to start saving some vacation offers. I figure we haven't rec'd a pin since we had our March 2010 vacation booked before we went this past Oct.
