So excited that we just booked our November trip to The Fort!!! We will be tent camping which we have done many times before but never at Disney. My question, and I know it has been asked many times before is about the size of the campsites. We just upgraded to a nicer tent, the only problem I can see is it is 23ft x 13ft! Please could somebody let me know if there will be enough room for us!!! When I look at the pictures it is so hard to tell the true size and when I called The Fort the lady could not tell me! :confused3:scared1:

Most of the people you might reach by phone are not even at the Fort, and probably never have been. People on the forums such as this one are the more reliable sources for correct info on the Fort. I cannot personally tell you site sizes since i am a motorhomer, not a tenter, but someone will come along to give either an answer or directions to an answer. I know there are some websites that show campsites. Some are online, some are phone apps. Good Luck.

What type of site have you reserved? Tent (Partial), Full, Preferred, or Premium?

I did a little post last year about the Tent/Partial sites:

Will My Tent Fit

Some folks kick in at this point promoting an app with EVERY site in the Fort and EVERY dimension. Problem is, you don't know what site you'll have until you check in, right? (even if you 'request' a site).

There is no standard size for tent pad sites so instead of obsessing about specific sites, just call the WDW reservation line and ask them to add a note to your existing reservation with the size of your tent (23ft x 13ft). When reservation info is downloaded to the Fort Assigner, this info will pass thru and he/she will see it and ensure you get a site that will fit your tent.

If you request a specific site, the Assigner has no idea WHY you are requesting that site (close to bus stop, close to comfort station, what/why?).

November is a nice time of year to be tent camping. :beach:

Thank you for your replies! I am so glad to be a part of this forum it is both helpful and fun to read! I will call today and give them the dimensions! Bama Ed your chart is so informative and put my mind to rest. Thank you. Now on with the planning! :thumbsup2 Glad to know that asking here is better than asking over the phone, will stick to DisBoards in future! :cool1::cheer2: Oh and I reserved a partial hook up. We usually camp without electric and water so this will be a luxury!
