Hello

I am returning to Florida with my family :sunny: . The first time that we went , we bought the usual 14 day passes that allowed us into most parks for the entire stay. This time however, I only want to go to selected parks i.e:

MGM
Universal Studios
Universal Island of Adventures
Epcot

We have already bought a ticket for Discovery Cove and Seaworld as we had to book for Discovery Cove in advance in order to do the swiming with Dolphins bit etc...and Seaworld or Busch Gdns was part of the package that you had to buy.

So the questions are :

1. can you buy separate tickets for entry to each of these parks?
2. Is it cheaper to buy in Florida or prior to depature over the web?
3. If answer to no2. is Flordia then is it cheaper to buy at a ticket office that you see scattered around Orlando or at the gate of each park.

Thanks.

Peter

1. Yes, you can buy one day tickets.

2. For Epcot and MGM I don't think it would make a huge difference to buy here or at the gate, but for USF/IOA combined you will get a better deal by buying on-line. The USF official site has tickets for 7 consecutive days entry (available to UK visitors) to both USF/IOA for less than the gate price for 2 days. Although you may only want 2 days, with the luxury of 7 days you might find it an option to return for an evening in the park, or just to call in for a couple of rides on your way somewhere else for the day.

3. Be wary of the on-street booths. There may be some bargain tickets to be had, but a lot of these outfits are selling cheap tickets linked to timeshare presentations. Also, it's impossible to tell (from just looking at a ticket) how many days are on the ticket without having it scanned through a reader at the park gates.

HTH!

Apologies for jumping your thread but.....can anyone tell me the cost of a single day entry ?

We've 2 days left on tickets that we plan to use, parking hopping between AK and MK one day and using the other day for Epcot. Then plan to buy one-day ticket for MGM.
